യഹോവ യോശുവയോടു: ഇന്നു ഞാൻ മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ നിന്ദ നിങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു ഉരുട്ടിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ആ സ്ഥലത്തിന്നു ഇന്നുവരെ ഗില്ഗാൽ (ഉരുൾ) എന്നു പേർ.

This day הַיּ֗וֹם yôm yome
have I rolled away גַּלּ֛וֹתִי gālal ɡa-LAHL
אֶת ʾēt ate
the reproach חֶרְפַּ֥ת ḥerpâ her-PA
of Egypt מִצְרַ֖יִם miṣrayim meets-ra-YEEM
from off מֵֽעֲלֵיכֶ֑ם ʿal al
is called וַיִּקְרָ֞א qārāʾ ka-RA
you. Wherefore the name שֵׁ֣ם šēm shame
of the place הַמָּק֤וֹם māqôm ma-KOME
הַהוּא֙ hûʾ hoo
Gilgal גִּלְגָּ֔ל gilgāl ɡeel-ɡAHL
unto עַ֖ד ʿad ad
day. הַיּ֥וֹם yôm yome
this הַזֶּֽה׃ ze zeh
