യോശുവയുടെ മരണശേഷം യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ: ഞങ്ങളിൽ ആരാകുന്നു കനാന്യരോടു യുദ്ധംചെയ്‍വാൻ ആദ്യം പുറപ്പെടേണ്ടതു എന്നു യഹോവയോടു ചോദിച്ചു.

of Joshua	יְהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ	yĕhôšûaʿ	yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah
asked	וַֽיִּשְׁאֲלוּ֙	šāʾal	sha-AL
that the children	בְּנֵ֣י	bēn	bane
of Israel	יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
the Lord,	בַּֽיהוָ֖ה	yĕhōwâ	yeh-hoh-VA
saying,	לֵאמֹ֑ר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
Who	מִ֣י	mî	mee
shall go up	יַֽעֲלֶה	ʿālâ	ah-LA
	לָּ֧נוּ
for us against	אֶל	ʾēl	ale
the Canaanites	הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֛י	kĕnaʿanî	keh-na-ah-NEE
first,	בַּתְּחִלָּ֖ה	tĕḥillâ	teh-hee-LA
to fight against them?	לְהִלָּ֥חֶם	lāḥam	la-HAHM
