Judges 1:2
യെഹൂദാ പുറപ്പെടട്ടെ; ഞാൻ ദേശം അവന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവ കല്പിച്ചു.

| Judah | יְהוּדָ֣ה | yĕhûdâ | yeh-hoo-DA |
| up: go shall | יַֽעֲלֶ֑ה | yaʿăle | ya-uh-LEH |
| behold, | הִנֵּ֛ה | hinnē | hee-NAY |
| delivered have I | נָתַ֥תִּי | nātattî | na-TA-tee |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the land | הָאָ֖רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| into his hand. | בְּיָדֽוֹ׃ | bĕyādô | beh-ya-DOH |
