എന്നാൽ മിദ്യാന്യരും അമാലേക്യരും കിഴക്കു ദേശക്കാരൊക്കെയും വെട്ടുക്കിളി എന്നപോലെ അസംഖ്യമായി താഴ്വരയിൽ കിടന്നിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ ഒട്ടകങ്ങളും കടൽക്കരയിലെ മണൽപോലെ അസംഖ്യം ആയിരുന്നു.

along in the valley בָּעֵ֔מֶק ʿēmeq ay-MEK
like grasshoppers כָּֽאַרְבֶּ֖ה ʾarbe ar-BEH
for multitude; לָרֹ֑ב rōb rove
and their camels וְלִגְמַלֵּיהֶם֙ gāmāl ɡa-MAHL
without אֵ֣ין ʾayin ah-YEEN
number, מִסְפָּ֔ר mispār mees-PAHR
as the sand כַּח֛וֹל ḥôl hole
by שֶֽׁעַל ʿal al
side שְׂפַ֥ת śāpâ sa-FA
the sea הַיָּ֖ם yām yahm
for multitude. לָרֹֽב׃ rōb rove
