ഊസ് ദേശത്തു പാർക്കുന്ന എദോംപുത്രിയേ, സന്തോഷിച്ചു ആനന്ദിക്ക; പാനപാത്രം നിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും വരും; നീ ലഹരിപിടിച്ചു നിന്നെത്തന്നേ നഗ്നയാക്കും.

in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
of Uz; ע֑וּץ ʿûṣ oots
also גַּם gam ɡahm
unto עָלַ֙יִךְ֙ ʿal al
shall pass through תַּעֲבָר ʿābar ah-VAHR
the cup כּ֔וֹס kôs kose
thee: thou shalt be drunken, תִּשְׁכְּרִ֖י šākar sha-HAHR
and shalt make thyself naked. וְתִתְעָרִֽי׃ ʿārâ ah-RA
