എല്ലാമൂപ്പന്മാരും സകലജനവും അവനോടു: നീ കേൾക്കരുതു, സമ്മതിക്കയും അരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

| unto | הָעָ֑ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| him, Hearken | אַל | ʾal | al |
| not | תִּשְׁמַ֖ע | tišmaʿ | teesh-MA |
| unto him, nor | וְל֥וֹא | wĕlôʾ | veh-LOH |
| consent. | תֹאבֶֽה׃ | tōʾbe | toh-VEH |
