അപ്പോൾ ബെന്യാമീനിലെ ഗിബെയയിൽനിന്നു ശൌലിന്റെ കാവൽക്കാർ നോക്കി പുരുഷാരം ചിന്നി അങ്ങുമിങ്ങും ഓടുന്നതു കണ്ടു.

| looked; | בִּנְיָמִ֑ן | binyāmin | been-ya-MEEN |
| and, behold, | וְהִנֵּ֧ה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| multitude the | הֶֽהָמ֛וֹן | hehāmôn | heh-ha-MONE |
| melted away, | נָמ֖וֹג | nāmôg | na-MOɡE |
| went they and | וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ | wayyēlek | va-YAY-lek |
| on beating down | וַֽהֲלֹֽם׃ | wahălōm | VA-huh-LOME |
