ദാവീദ് വീണ്ടും യഹോവയോടു ചോദിച്ചു. യഹോവ അവനോടു: എഴുന്നേറ്റു കെയീലയിലേക്കു ചെല്ലുക; ഞാൻ ഫെലിസ്ത്യരെ നിന്റെ കയ്യിൽ ഏല്പിക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

| And the Lord | וַֽיַּעֲנֵ֖הוּ | wayyaʿănēhû | va-ya-uh-NAY-hoo |
| answered | יְהוָ֑ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| him and said, | וַיֹּ֗אמֶר | wayyōʾmer | va-YOH-mer |
| Arise, | ק֚וּם | qûm | koom |
| go down | רֵ֣ד | rēd | rade |
| to Keilah; | קְעִילָ֔ה | qĕʿîlâ | keh-ee-LA |
| for | כִּֽי | kî | kee |
| I | אֲנִ֥י | ʾănî | uh-NEE |
| deliver will | נֹתֵ֛ן | nōtēn | noh-TANE |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the Philistines | פְּלִשְׁתִּ֖ים | pĕlištîm | peh-leesh-TEEM |
| into thine hand. | בְּיָדֶֽךָ׃ | bĕyādekā | beh-ya-DEH-ha |
