ശമൂവേൽ-1 4:8
നമുക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! ശക്തിയുള്ള ഈ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു നമ്മെ ആർ രക്ഷിക്കും? മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ സകലവിധബാധകളാലും ബാധിച്ച ദൈവം ഇതു തന്നേ.

| these | הָאֵ֑לֶּה | hāʾēlle | ha-A-leh |
| are the Gods | אֵ֧לֶּה | ʾēlle | A-leh |
| that smote | הֵ֣ם | hēm | hame |
| הָֽאֱלֹהִ֗ים | hāʾĕlōhîm | ha-ay-loh-HEEM | |
| Egyptians the | הַמַּכִּ֧ים | hammakkîm | ha-ma-KEEM |
| with all | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| the plagues | מִצְרַ֛יִם | miṣrayim | meets-RA-yeem |
