യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ശമൂവേലിനോടു: നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഞങ്ങളെ ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞങ്ങൾക്കു വേണ്ടി അവനോടു പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നതു മതിയാക്കരുതേ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

And the children	וַיֹּֽאמְר֤וּ	wayyōʾmĕrû	va-yoh-meh-ROO
of Israel	בְנֵֽי	bĕnê	veh-NAY
said	יִשְׂרָאֵל֙	yiśrāʾēl	yees-ra-ALE
to	אֶל	ʾel	el
Samuel,	שְׁמוּאֵ֔ל	šĕmûʾēl	sheh-moo-ALE
Cease	אַל	ʾal	al
not	תַּֽחֲרֵ֣שׁ	taḥărēš	ta-huh-RAYSH
to cry	מִמֶּ֔נּוּ	mimmennû	mee-MEH-noo
unto	מִזְּעֹ֖ק	mizzĕʿōq	mee-zeh-OKE
the Lord	אֶל	ʾel	el
God our	יְהוָ֣ה	yĕhwâ	yeh-VA
for	אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ	ʾĕlōhênû	ay-loh-HAY-noo
us, that he will save	וְיֹֽשִׁעֵ֖נוּ	wĕyōšiʿēnû	veh-yoh-shee-A-noo
hand the of out us	מִיַּ֥ד	miyyad	mee-YAHD
of the Philistines.	פְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃	pĕlištîm	peh-leesh-TEEM
