അവൻ നാഥാൻ പ്രവാചകനെ നിയോഗിച്ചു; അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ പ്രീതിനിമിത്തം അവന്നു യെദീദ്യാവു എന്നു പേർ വിളിച്ചു.

അനന്തരം യഹോവ നാഥാനെ ദാവീദിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ അയച്ചു. അവൻ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്നു അവനോടു പറഞ്ഞതു: ഒരു പട്ടണത്തിൽ രണ്ടു പുരുഷന്മാർ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ഒരുത്തൻ ധനവാൻ, മറ്റവൻ ദരിദ്രൻ.
