യഹോവയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം പരിശോധിപ്പാനും അതു അനുസരിച്ചു നടപ്പാനും യിസ്രായേലിൽ അതിന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളും വിധികളും ഉപദേശിപ്പാനും എസ്രാ മനസ്സുവെച്ചിരുന്നു.
