എനിക്കു നിന്നോടു ഒരു നിയമമുണ്ടു; നീ ബഹുജാതികൾക്കു പിതാവാകും;

| covenant my | בְרִיתִ֖י | bĕrîtî | veh-ree-TEE |
| is with | אִתָּ֑ךְ | ʾittāk | ee-TAHK |
| be shalt thou and thee, | וְהָיִ֕יתָ | wĕhāyîtā | veh-ha-YEE-ta |
| a father | לְאַ֖ב | lĕʾab | leh-AV |
| of many | הֲמ֥וֹן | hămôn | huh-MONE |
| nations. | גּוֹיִֽם׃ | gôyim | ɡoh-YEEM |
