ദൈവം പിന്നെയും അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: നീയും നിന്റെശേഷം തലമുറതലമുറയായി നിന്റെ സന്തതിയും എന്റെ നിയമം പ്രമാണിക്കേണം.

| בְּרִיתִ֣י | bĕrîtî | beh-ree-TEE | |
| covenant my | תִשְׁמֹ֑ר | tišmōr | teesh-MORE |
| therefore, thou, | אַתָּ֛ה | ʾattâ | ah-TA |
| seed thy and | וְזַרְעֲךָ֥ | wĕzarʿăkā | veh-zahr-uh-HA |
| after | אַֽחֲרֶ֖יךָ | ʾaḥărêkā | ah-huh-RAY-ha |
| thee in their generations. | לְדֹֽרֹתָֽם׃ | lĕdōrōtām | leh-DOH-roh-TAHM |
