ഉല്പത്തി 35:12
ഞാൻ അബ്രാഹാമിന്നും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്നും കൊടുത്തദേശം നിനക്കു തരും; നിന്റെ ശേഷം നിന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും ഈ ദേശം കൊടുക്കും എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.

| I gave | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| Abraham | נָתַ֛תִּי | nātattî | na-TA-tee |
| and Isaac, | לְאַבְרָהָ֥ם | lĕʾabrāhām | leh-av-ra-HAHM |
| to thee | וּלְיִצְחָ֖ק | ûlĕyiṣḥāq | oo-leh-yeets-HAHK |
| it, give will I | לְךָ֣ | lĕkā | leh-HA |
| and to thy seed | אֶתְּנֶ֑נָּה | ʾettĕnennâ | eh-teh-NEH-na |
| thee after | וּֽלְזַרְעֲךָ֥ | ûlĕzarʿăkā | oo-leh-zahr-uh-HA |
| will I give | אַֽחֲרֶ֖יךָ | ʾaḥărêkā | ah-huh-RAY-ha |
| אֶתֵּ֥ן | ʾettēn | eh-TANE | |
