ഹർസീത്ത് (ഓട്ടുനുറുകൂ) വാതിലിന്റെ പുറമെയുള്ള ബെൻ-ഹിന്നോം താഴ്വരയിൽ ചെന്നു, ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്ന വാക്കുകളെ അവിടെ പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു:

അതുകൊണ്ടു ഇനി അതിന്നു തോഫെത്ത് എന്നും ബെൻ ഹിന്നോംതാഴ്വര എന്നും പേരു പറയാതെ കുലത്താഴ്വര എന്നു പേർ വിളിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു. വേറെ സ്ഥലം ഇല്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവർ തോഫെത്തിൽ ശവം അടക്കും.

സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നന്നാക്കിക്കൂടാതവണ്ണം കുശവന്റെ പാത്രം ഉടെച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതുപോലെ ഞാൻ ഈ ജനത്തെയും ഈ നഗരത്തെയും ഉടെച്ചുകളയും. അടക്കം ചെയ്‍വാൻ വേറെ സ്ഥലമില്ലായ്കകൊണ്ടു അവരെ തോഫെത്തിൽ അടക്കംചെയ്യും.
