കുതിരകളേ, കുതിച്ചു ചാടുവിൻ; രഥങ്ങളേ, മുറുകി ഓടുവിൻ! വീരന്മാർ പുറപ്പെടട്ടെ; പരിച പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന കൂശ്യരും പൂത്യരും വില്ലെടുത്തു കുലെക്കുന്ന ലൂദ്യരും കൂടെ.
