നഹൂം 3:13
നിന്റെ ജനം നിന്റെ നടുവിൽ പെണ്ണുങ്ങൾ ആകുന്നു; നിന്റെ ദേശത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾ നിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾക്കു വിസ്താരമായി തുറന്നുകിടക്കുന്നു; നിന്റെ ഓടാമ്പലുകൾ തീക്കു ഇരയായ്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

| land thy of | פָּת֥וֹחַ | pātôaḥ | pa-TOH-ak |
| shall be set wide | נִפְתְּח֖וּ | niptĕḥû | neef-teh-HOO |
| open | שַׁעֲרֵ֣י | šaʿărê | sha-uh-RAY |
| enemies: thine unto | אַרְצֵ֑ךְ | ʾarṣēk | ar-TSAKE |
| the fire | אָכְלָ֥ה | ʾoklâ | oke-LA |
| shall devour | אֵ֖שׁ | ʾēš | aysh |
