എന്നാൽ ഈ മാസം ഇരുപത്തിനാലാം തിയ്യതി യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ഉപവസിച്ചും രട്ടുടുത്തും തലയിൽ പൂഴി വാരിയിട്ടുംകൊണ്ടു കൂടിവന്നു.

of this הַזֶּ֗ה ze zeh
were assembled נֶֽאֶסְפ֤וּ ʾāsap ah-SAHF
the children בְנֵֽי bēn bane
of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
with fasting, בְּצ֣וֹם ṣôm tsome
and with sackclothes, וּבְשַׂקִּ֔ים śaq sahk
and earth וַֽאֲדָמָ֖ה ʾădāmâ uh-da-MA
upon them. עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ ʿal al
