യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ എല്ലാവരും മോശെക്കും അഹരോന്നും വിരോധമായി പിറുപിറുത്തു; സഭ ഒക്കെയും അവരോടു: മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുവെച്ചു ഞങ്ങൾ മരിച്ചുപോയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഈ മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു ഞങ്ങൾ മരിച്ചുപോയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ കൊള്ളായിരുന്നു.

of Israel יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל yiśrāʾēl yees-ra-ALE
said וַיֹּֽאמְר֨וּ ʾāmar ah-MAHR
unto אֲלֵהֶ֜ם ʾēl ale
and the whole כָּל kōl kole
congregation הָֽעֵדָ֗ה ʿēdâ ay-DA
them, Would God that לוּ lûʾ loo
we had died מַ֙תְנוּ֙ mût moot
in the land בְּאֶ֣רֶץ ʾereṣ eh-RETS
of Egypt! מִצְרַ֔יִם miṣrayim meets-ra-YEEM
or א֛וֹ ʾô oh
wilderness! בַּמִּדְבָּ֥ר midbār meed-BAHR
in this הַזֶּ֖ה ze zeh
would God לוּ lûʾ loo
we had died מָֽתְנוּ׃ mût moot
