Numbers 35:8
യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ അവകാശത്തിൽനിന്നു ജനമേറിയവർ ഏറെയും ജനം കുറഞ്ഞവർ കുറെയും പട്ടണങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കേണം; ഓരോ ഗോത്രം തനിക്കു ലഭിക്കുന്ന അവകാശത്തിന്നു ഒത്തവണ്ണം ലേവ്യർക്കു പട്ടണങ്ങളെ കൊടുക്കേണം.

| of Israel: | יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל | yiśrāʾēl | yees-ra-ALE |
| from | מֵאֵ֤ת | mēʾēt | may-ATE |
| many have that them | הָרַב֙ | hārab | ha-RAHV |
| ye shall give many; | תַּרְבּ֔וּ | tarbû | tahr-BOO |
| from but | וּמֵאֵ֥ת | ûmēʾēt | oo-may-ATE |
| them that have few | הַמְעַ֖ט | hamʿaṭ | hahm-AT |
| few: give shall ye | תַּמְעִ֑יטוּ | tamʿîṭû | tahm-EE-too |
| every one | אִ֗ישׁ | ʾîš | eesh |
| shall give | כְּפִ֤י | kĕpî | keh-FEE |
| cities his of | נַֽחֲלָתוֹ֙ | naḥălātô | na-huh-la-TOH |
| unto the Levites | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| to according | יִנְחָ֔לוּ | yinḥālû | yeen-HA-loo |
