ആകയാൽ മകനേ, ഇതു ചെയ്ക; നിന്നെത്തന്നേ വിടുവിക്ക; കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ കയ്യിൽ നീ അകപ്പെട്ടുപോയല്ലോ; നീ ചെന്നു, താണുവീണു കൂട്ടുകാരനോടു മുട്ടിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്ക.

when כִּ֘י kî kee
thou art come בָ֤אתָ bôʾ boh
into the hand בְכַף kap kahf
of thy friend; רֵעֶ֑ךָ rēaʿ RAY-ah
go, לֵ֥ךְ hālak ha-LAHK
humble thyself, הִ֝תְרַפֵּ֗ס rāpas ra-FAHS
and make sure וּרְהַ֥ב rāhab ra-HAHV
thy friend. רֵעֶֽיךָ׃ rēaʿ RAY-ah
