Psalm 78 - YLT (Malayalam)

1 An Instruction of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my law, Incline your ear to sayings of my mouth.എന്റെ ജനമേ, എന്റെ ഉപദേശം ശ്രദ്ധിപ്പിൻ; എന്റെ വായ്മൊഴികൾക്കു നിങ്ങളുടെ ചെവി ചായിപ്പിൻ.

2 I open with a simile my mouth, I bring forth hidden things of old,ഞാൻ ഉപമ പ്രസ്താവിപ്പാൻ വായ് തുറക്കും; പുരാതനകടങ്കഥകളെ ഞാൻ പറയും.

3 That we have heard and do know, And our fathers have recounted to us.നാം അവയെ കേട്ടറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ നമ്മോടു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

4 We do not hide from their sons, To a later generation recounting praises of Jehovah, And His strength, and His wonders that He hath done.നാം അവരുടെ മക്കളോടു അവയെ മറെച്ചുവെക്കാതെ വരുവാനുള്ള തലമുറയോടു യഹോവയുടെ സ്തുതിയും ബലവും അവൻ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളും വിവരിച്ചുപറയും.

5 And He raiseth up a testimony in Jacob, And a law hath placed in Israel, That He commanded our fathers, To make them known to their sons.അവൻ യാക്കോബിൽ ഒരു സാക്ഷ്യം സ്ഥാപിച്ചു; യിസ്രായേലിൽ ഒരു ന്യായപ്രമാണം നിയമിച്ചു; നമ്മുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു അവയെ തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളെ അറിയിപ്പാൻ കല്പിച്ചു.

6 So that a later generation doth know, Sons who are born, do rise and recount to their sons,വരുവാനുള്ള തലമുറ, ജനിപ്പാനിരിക്കുന്ന മക്കൾ തന്നേ, അവയെ ഗ്രഹിച്ചു എഴുന്നേറ്റു തങ്ങളുടെ മക്കളോടറിയിക്കയും

7 And place in God their confidence, And forget not the doings of God, But keep His commands.അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ആശ്രയം ദൈവത്തിൽ വെക്കുകയും ദൈവത്തിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ മറന്നുകളയാതെ അവന്റെ കല്പനകളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചുനടക്കയും

8 And they are not like their fathers, A generation apostate and rebellious, A generation! it hath not prepared its heart, Nor stedfast with God `is' its spirit.തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപോലെ ശാഠ്യവും മത്സരവും ഉള്ള തലമുറയായി ഹൃദയത്തെ സ്ഥിരമാക്കാതെ ദൈവത്തോടു അവിശ്വസ്തമനസ്സുള്ളോരു തലമുറയായി തീരാതിരിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു തന്നേ.

9 Sons of Ephraim -- armed bearers of bow, Have turned in a day of conflict.ആയുധം ധരിച്ച വില്ലാളികളായ എഫ്രയീമ്യർ യുദ്ധദിവസത്തിൽ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞുപോയി.

10 They have not kept the covenant of God, And in His law they have refused to walk,അവർ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നിയമം പ്രമാണിച്ചില്ല. അവന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു നടന്നു.

11 And they forget His doings, And His wonders that He shewed them.അവർ അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെയും അവരെ കാണിച്ച അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും മറന്നു കളഞ്ഞു.

12 Before their fathers He hath done wonders, In the land of Egypt -- the field of Zoan.അവൻ മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തു, സോവാൻ വയലിൽവെച്ചു അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാർ കാൺകെ, അത്ഭുതം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.

13 He cleft a sea, and causeth them to pass over, Yea, He causeth waters to stand as a heap.അവൻ സമുദ്രത്തെ വിഭാഗിച്ചു, അതിൽകൂടി അവരെ കടത്തി; അവൻ വെള്ളത്തെ ചിറപോലെ നില്ക്കുമാറാക്കി.

14 And leadeth them with a cloud by day, And all the night with a light of fire.പകൽസമയത്തു അവൻ മേഘംകൊണ്ടും രാത്രി മുഴുവനും അഗ്നിപ്രകാശംകൊണ്ടും അവരെ നടത്തി.

15 He cleaveth rocks in a wilderness, And giveth drink -- as the great deep.അവൻ മരുഭൂമിയിൽ പാറകളെ പിളർന്നു ആഴികളാൽ എന്നപോലെ അവർക്കു ധാരാളം കുടിപ്പാൻ കൊടുത്തു.

16 And bringeth out streams from a rock, And causeth waters to come down as rivers.പാറയിൽനിന്നു അവൻ ഒഴുക്കുകളെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; വെള്ളം നദികളെപ്പോലെ ഒഴുകുമാറാക്കി.

17 And they add still to sin against Him, To provoke the Most High in the dry place.എങ്കിലും അവർ അവനോടു പാപം ചെയ്തു; അത്യുന്നതനോടു മരുഭൂമിയിൽവെച്ചു മത്സരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.

18 And they try God in their heart, To ask food for their lust.തങ്ങളുടെ കൊതിക്കു ഭക്ഷണം ചോദിച്ചു കൊണ്ടു അവർ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ ദൈവത്തെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു.

19 And they speak against God -- they said: `Is God able to array a table in a wilderness?'അവർ ദൈവത്തിന്നു വിരോധമായി സംസാരിച്ചു: മരുഭൂമിയിൽ മേശ ഒരുക്കുവാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്നു കഴിയുമോ?

20 Lo, He hath smitten a rock, And waters flow, yea, streams overflow. `Also -- bread `is' He able to give? Doth He prepare flesh for His people?'അവൻ പാറയെ അടിച്ചു, വെള്ളം പുറപ്പെട്ടു, തോടുകളും കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകി സത്യം; എന്നാൽ അപ്പംകൂടെ തരുവാൻ അവന്നു കഴിയുമോ? തന്റെ ജനത്തിന്നു അവൻ മാംസം വരുത്തി കൊടുക്കുമോ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

21 Therefore hath Jehovah heard, And He sheweth Himself wroth, And fire hath been kindled against Jacob, And anger also hath gone up against Israel,ആകയാൽ യഹോവ അതു കേട്ടു കോപിച്ചു; യാക്കോബിന്റെ നേരെ തീ ജ്വലിച്ചു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ നേരെ കോപവും പൊങ്ങി.

22 For they have not believed in God, Nor have they trusted in His salvation.അവർ ദൈവത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കയും അവന്റെ രക്ഷയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കയും ചെയ്യായ്കയാൽ തന്നേ.

23 And He commandeth clouds from above, Yea, doors of the heavens He hath opened.അവൻ മീതെ മേഘങ്ങളോടു കല്പിച്ചു; ആകാശത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകളെ തുറന്നു.

24 And He raineth on them manna to eat, Yea, corn of heaven He hath given to them.അവർക്കു തിന്മാൻ മന്ന വർഷിപ്പിച്ചു; സ്വർഗ്ഗീയധാന്യം അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു.

25 Food of the mighty hath each eaten, Venison He sent to them to satiety.മനുഷ്യർ ശക്തിമാന്മാരുടെ അപ്പം തിന്നു; അവൻ അവർക്കു തൃപ്തിയാകുംവണ്ണം ആഹാരം അയച്ചു.

26 He causeth an east wind to journey in the heavens, And leadeth by His strength a south wind,അവൻ ആകാശത്തിൽ കിഴക്കൻ കാറ്റു അടിപ്പിച്ചു; തന്റെ ശക്തിയാൽ കിഴക്കൻ കാറ്റു വരുത്തി.

27 And He raineth on them flesh as dust, And as sand of the seas -- winged fowl,അവൻ അവർക്കു പൊടിപോലെ മാംസത്തെയും കടൽപുറത്തെ മണൽപോലെ പക്ഷികളെയും വർഷിപ്പിച്ചു;

28 And causeth `it' to fall in the midst of His camp, Round about His tabernacles.അവരുടെ പാളയത്തിന്റെ നടുവിലും പാർപ്പിടങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റിലും അവയെ പൊഴിച്ചു.

29 And they eat, and are greatly satisfied, And their desire He bringeth to them.അങ്ങനെ അവർ തിന്നു തൃപ്തരായ്തീർന്നു; അവർ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചതു അവൻ അവർക്കു കൊടുത്തു.

30 They have not been estranged from their desire, Yet `is' their food in their mouth,അവരുടെ കൊതിക്കു മതിവന്നില്ല; ഭക്ഷണം അവരുടെ വായിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ തന്നേ,

31 And the anger of God hath gone up against them, And He slayeth among their fat ones, And youths of Israel He caused to bend.ദൈവത്തിന്റെ കോപം അവരുടെമേൽ വന്നു; അവരുടെ അതിപുഷ്ടന്മാരിൽ ചിലരെ കൊന്നു യിസ്രായേലിലെ യൌവനക്കാരെ സംഹരിച്ചു.

32 With all this they have sinned again, And have not believed in His wonders.ഇതെല്ലാമായിട്ടും അവർ പിന്നെയും പാപം ചെയ്തു; അവന്റെ അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികളെ വിശ്വസിച്ചതുമില്ല.

33 And He consumeth in vanity their days, And their years in trouble.അതുകൊണ്ടു അവൻ അവരുടെ നാളുകളെ ശ്വാസംപോലെയും അവരുടെ സംവത്സരങ്ങളെ അതിവേഗത്തിലും കഴിയുമാറാക്കി.

34 If He slew them, then they sought Him, And turned back, and sought God earnestly,അവൻ അവരെ കൊല്ലുമ്പോൾ അവർ അവനെ അന്വേഷിക്കും; അവർ തിരിഞ്ഞു ജാഗ്രതയോടെ ദൈവത്തെ തിരയും.

35 And they remember that God `is' their rock, And God Most High their redeemer.ദൈവം തങ്ങളുടെ പാറ എന്നും അത്യുന്നതനായ ദൈവം തങ്ങളുടെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പുകാരൻ എന്നും അവർ ഓർക്കും.

36 And -- they deceive Him with their mouth, And with their tongue do lie to Him,എങ്കിലും അവർ വായ്കൊണ്ടു അവനോടു കപടം സംസാരിക്കും നാവുകൊണ്ടു അവനോടു ഭോഷ്കുപറയും.

37 And their heart hath not been right with Him, And they have not been stedfast in His covenant.അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം അവങ്കൽ സ്ഥിരമായിരുന്നില്ല, അവന്റെ നിയമത്തോടു അവർ വിശ്വസ്തത കാണിച്ചതുമില്ല.

38 And He -- the Merciful One, Pardoneth iniquity, and destroyeth not, And hath often turned back His anger, And waketh not up all His fury.എങ്കിലും അവൻ കരുണയുള്ളവനാകകൊണ്ടു അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കാതെ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യം ക്ഷമിച്ചു; തന്റെ ക്രോധത്തെ മുഴുവനും ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കാതെ തന്റെ കോപത്തെ പലപ്പോഴും അടക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

39 And He remembereth that they `are' flesh, A wind going on -- and it returneth not.അവർ ജഡമത്രേ എന്നും മടങ്ങിവരാതെ കടന്നുപോകുന്ന കാറ്റു എന്നും അവൻ ഓർത്തു.

40 How often do they provoke Him in the wilderness, Grieve Him in the desolate place?മരുഭൂമിയിൽ അവർ എത്ര പ്രാവശ്യം അവനോടു മത്സരിച്ചു! ശൂന്യപ്രദേശത്തു എത്രപ്രാവശ്യം അവനെ ദുഃഖിപ്പിച്ചു!

41 Yea, they turn back, and try God, And the Holy One of Israel have limited.അവർ പിന്നെയും പിന്നെയും ദൈവത്തെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനെ മുഷിപ്പിച്ചു.

42 They have not remembered His hand The day He ransomed them from the adversary.മിസ്രയീമിൽ അടയാളങ്ങളെയും സോവാൻ വയലിൽ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും ചെയ്ത അവന്റെ കയ്യും

43 When He set His signs in Egypt, And His wonders in the field of Zoan,അവൻ ശത്രുവിൻ വശത്തുനിന്നു അവരെ വിടുവിച്ച ദിവസവും അവർ ഓർത്തില്ല.

44 And He turneth to blood their streams, And their floods they drink not.അവൻ അവരുടെ നദികളെയും തോടുകളെയും അവർക്കു കുടിപ്പാൻ വഹിയാതവണ്ണം രക്തമാക്കി തീർത്തു.

45 He sendeth among them the beetle, and it consumeth them, And the frog, and it destroyeth them,അവൻ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഈച്ചയെ അയച്ചു; അവ അവരെ അരിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു: തവളയെയും അയച്ചു അവ അവർക്കു നാശം ചെയ്തു.

46 And giveth to the caterpillar their increase, And their labour to the locust.അവരുടെ വിള അവൻ തുള്ളന്നും അവരുടെ പ്രയത്നം വെട്ടുക്കിളിക്കും കൊടുത്തു.

47 He destroyeth with hail their vine, And their sycamores with frost,അവൻ അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളെ കൽമഴകൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ കാട്ടത്തിവൃക്ഷങ്ങളെ ആലിപ്പഴം കൊണ്ടും നശിപ്പിച്ചു.

48 And delivereth up to the hail their beasts, And their cattle to the burning flames.അവൻ അവരുടെ കന്നുകാലികളെ കൽമഴെക്കും അവരുടെ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടങ്ങളെ ഇടിത്തീക്കും ഏല്പിച്ചു.

49 He sendeth on them the fury of His anger, Wrath, and indignation, and distress -- A discharge of evil messengers.അവൻ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ തന്റെ കോപാഗ്നിയും ക്രോധവും രോഷവും കഷ്ടവും അയച്ചു; അനർത്ഥദൂതന്മാരുടെ ഒരു ഗണത്തെ തന്നേ.

50 He pondereth a path for His anger, He kept not back their soul from death, Yea, their life to the pestilence He delivered up.അവൻ തന്റെ കോപത്തിന്നു ഒരു പാത ഒരുക്കി, അവരുടെ പ്രാണനെ മരണത്തിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കാതെ അവരുടെ ജീവനെ മഹാമാരിക്കു ഏല്പിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.

51 And He smiteth every first-born in Egypt, The first-fruit of the strong in tents of Ham.അവൻ മിസ്രയീമിലെ എല്ലാ കടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും ഹാംകൂടാരങ്ങളിലുള്ളവരുടെ വീര്യത്തിന്റെ പ്രഥമഫലത്തെയും സംഹരിച്ചു.

52 And causeth His people to journey as a flock, And guideth them as a drove in a wilderness,എന്നാൽ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ അവൻ ആടുകളെപ്പോലെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; മരുഭൂമിയിൽ ആട്ടിൻ കൂട്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ അവരെ നടത്തി.

53 And He leadeth them confidently, And they have not been afraid, And their enemies hath the sea covered.അവൻ അവരെ നിർഭയമായി നടത്തുകയാൽ അവർക്കു പേടിയുണ്ടായില്ല; അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളെ സമുദ്രം മൂടിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

54 And He bringeth them in unto the border of His sanctuary, This mountain His right hand had got,അവൻ അവരെ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധദേശത്തിലേക്കും തന്റെ വലങ്കൈ സമ്പാദിച്ച ഈ പർവ്വതത്തിലേക്കും കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

55 And casteth out nations from before them, And causeth them to fall in the line of inheritance, And causeth the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents,അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു അവൻ ജാതികളെ നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; ചരടുകൊണ്ടു അളന്നു അവർക്കു അവകാശം പകുത്തുകൊടുത്തു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളെ അവരവരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ പാർപ്പിച്ചു.

56 And they tempt and provoke God Most High, And His testimonies have not kept.എങ്കിലും അവർ അത്യുന്നതനായ ദൈവത്തെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു മത്സരിച്ചു; അവന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിച്ചതുമില്ല.

57 And they turn back, And deal treacherously like their fathers, They have been turned like a deceitful bow,അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞു ദ്രോഹം ചെയ്തു; വഞ്ചനയുള്ള വില്ലുപോലെ അവർ മാറിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

58 And make Him angry with their high places, And with their graven images make Him zealous,അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ പൂജാഗിരികളെക്കൊണ്ടു അവനെ കോപിപ്പിച്ചു; വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു അവന്നു തീക്ഷ്ണത ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.

59 God hath heard, and sheweth Himself wroth. And kicketh exceedingly against Israel.ദൈവം കേട്ടു ക്രുദ്ധിച്ചു; യിസ്രായേലിനെ ഏറ്റവും വെറുത്തു.

60 And He leaveth the tabernacle of Shiloh, The tent He had placed among men,ആകയാൽ അവൻ ശീലോവിലെ തിരുനിവാസവും താൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അടിച്ചിരുന്ന കൂടാരവും ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

61 And He giveth His strength to captivity, And His beauty into the hand of an adversary,തന്റെ ബലത്തെ പ്രവാസത്തിലും തന്റെ മഹത്വത്തെ ശത്രുവിന്റെ കയ്യിലും ഏല്പിച്ചുകൊടുത്തു.

62 And delivereth up to the sword His people, And with His inheritance shewed Himself angry.അവൻ തന്റെ അവകാശത്തോടു കോപിച്ചു; തന്റെ ജനത്തെ വാളിന്നു വിട്ടുകൊടുത്തു.

63 His young men hath fire consumed, And His virgins have not been praised.അവരുടെ യൌവനക്കാർ തീക്കു ഇരയായിതീർന്നു; അവരുടെ കന്യകമാർക്കു വിവാഹഗീതം ഉണ്ടായതുമില്ല.

64 His priests by the sword have fallen, And their widows weep not.അവരുടെ പുരോഹിതന്മാർ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീണു; അവരുടെ വിധവമാർ വിലാപം കഴിച്ചതുമില്ല.

65 And the Lord waketh as a sleeper, As a mighty one crying aloud from wine.അപ്പോൾ കർത്താവു ഉറക്കുണർന്നുവരുന്നവനെപ്പോലെയും വീഞ്ഞുകുടിച്ചു അട്ടഹസിക്കുന്ന വീരനെപ്പോലെയും ഉണർന്നു.

66 And He smiteth His adversaries backward, A reproach age-during He hath put on them,അവൻ തന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ പുറകോട്ടു അടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അവർക്കു നിത്യനിന്ദവരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.

67 And He kicketh against the tent of Joseph, And on the tribe of Ephraim hath not fixed.എന്നാൽ അവൻ യോസേഫിന്റെ കൂടാരത്തെ ത്യജിച്ചു; എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുമില്ല.

68 And He chooseth the tribe of Judah, With mount Zion that He loved,അവൻ യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തെയും താൻ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട സീയോൻ പർവ്വതത്തെയും തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു.

69 And buildeth His sanctuary as a high place, Like the earth, He founded it to the age.താൻ സദാകാലത്തേക്കും സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഭൂമിയെപ്പോലെയും സ്വര്ഗ്ഗോന്നതികളെപ്പോലെയും അവൻ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തെ പണിതു.

70 And He fixeth on David His servant, And taketh him from the folds of a flock,അവൻ തന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു; ആട്ടിൻ തൊഴുത്തുകളിൽനിന്നു അവനെ വരുത്തി.

71 From behind suckling ones He hath brought him in, To rule over Jacob His people, And over Israel His inheritance.തന്റെ ജനമായ യാക്കോബിനെയും തന്റെ അവകാശമായ യിസ്രായേലിനെയും മേയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവൻ അവനെ തള്ളയാടുകളെ നോക്കുന്ന വേലയിൽനിന്നു കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.

72 And he ruleth them according to the integrity of his heart, And by the skilfulness of his hands leadeth them!അങ്ങനെ അവൻ പരമാർത്ഥഹൃദയത്തോടെ അവരെ മേയിച്ചു; കൈമിടുക്കോടെ അവരെ നടത്തി.
