Matthew 8 in Tamil

1 அவர் மலையிலிருந்து இறங்கினபோது, திரளான ஜனங்கள் அவருக்குப் பின் சென்றார்கள். When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

2 அப்பொழுது குஷ்டரோகி ஒருவன் வந்து அவரைப் பணிந்து: ஆண்டவரே! உமக்குச் சித்தமானால், என்னைச் சுத்தமாக்க உம்மால் ஆகும் என்றான். And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

3 இயேசு தமது கையை நீட்டி அவனைத்தொட்டு: எனக்குச் சித்தமுண்டு, சுத்தமாகு என்றார். உடனே குஷ்டரோகம் நீங்கி அவன் சுத்தமானான். And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

4 இயேசு அவனை நோக்கி: இதை நீ ஒருவருக்கும் சொல்லாதபடி எச்சரிக்கையாயிரு; ஆயினும், அவர்களுக்குச் சாட்சியாக நீ போய் ஆசாரியனுக்கு உன்னைக் காண்பித்து, மோசே கட்டளையிட்ட காணிக்கையைச் செலுத்து என்றார். And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

5 இயேசு கப்பர்நகூமில் பிரவேசித்தபோது, நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதி ஒருவன் அவரிடத்தில் வந்து: And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

6 ஆண்டவரே! என் வேலைக்காரன் வீட்டிலே திமிர்வாதமாய்க் கிடந்து கொடிய வேதனைப்படுகிறான் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டான். And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

7 அதற்கு இயேசு: நான் வந்து அவனைச் சொஸ்தமாக்குவேன் என்றார். And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

8 நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதி பிரதியுத்தரமாக: ஆண்டவரே! நீர் என் வீட்டுக்குள் பிரவேசிக்க நான் பாத்திரன் அல்ல; ஒரு வார்த்தை மாத்திரம் சொல்லும், அப்பொழுது என் வேலைக்காரன் சொஸ்தமாவான். The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9 நான் அதிகாரத்துக்குக் கீழ்ப்பட்டிருந்தும், எனக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிற சேவகருமுண்டு; நான் ஒருவனைப் போவென்றால் போகிறான், மற்றொருவனை வாவென்றால் வருகிறான், என் வேலைக்காரனை இதைச் செய் என்றால் செய்கிறான் என்றான். For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.

10 இயேசு இதைக் கேட்டு ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, தமக்குப் பின் செல்லுகிறவர்களை நோக்கி: இஸ்ரவேலருக்குள்ளும் நான் இப்படிப்பட்ட விசுவாசத்தை காணவில்லை என்று, மெய்யாகவே உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

11 அநேகர் கிழக்கிலும் மேற்கிலுமிருந்து வந்து, பரலோகராஜ்யத்தில் ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு யாக்கோபு என்பவர்களோடே பந்தியிருப்பார்கள். And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

12 ராஜ்யத்தின் புத்திரரோ புறம்பான இருளிலே தள்ளப்படுவார்கள்; அங்கே அழுகையும் பற்கடிப்பும் உண்டாயிருக்குமென்று உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லுகிறேன். But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

13 பின்பு இயேசு நூற்றுக்கு அதிபதியை நோக்கி: நீ போகலாம், நீ விசுவாசித்தபடியே உனக்கு ஆகக்கடவது என்றார். அந்த நாழிகையிலே அவன் வேலைக்காரன் சொஸ்தமானான். And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

14 இயேசு பேதுருவின் வீட்டிலே வந்து, அவன் மாமி ஜுரமாய்க் கிடக்கிறதைக் கண்டார். And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.

15 அவர் அவள் கையைத் தொட்டவுடனே ஜுரம் அவளைவிட்டு நீங்கிற்று; அவள் எழுந்திருந்து அவர்களுக்குப் பணிவிடை செய்தாள். And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

16 அஸ்தமனமானபோது, பிசாசு பிடித்திருந்த அநேகரை அவரிடத்தில் கொண்டு வந்தார்கள்; அவர் அந்த ஆவிகளைத் தமது வார்த்தையினாலே துரத்தி, பிணியாளிகளெல்லாரையும் சொஸ்தமாக்கினார்: When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

17 அவர் தாமே நம்முடைய பெலவீனங்களை ஏற்றுக்கொண்டு, நம்முடைய நோய்களைச் சுமந்தார் என்று, ஏசாயா தீர்க்கதரிசியினால் உரைக்கப்பட்டது நிறைவேறும்படி இப்படி நடந்தது. That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

18 பின்பு, திரளான ஜனங்கள் தம்மைச் சூழ்ந்திருக்கிறதைக் கண்டு, அக்கரைக்குப் போகக்கட்டளையிட்டார். Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.

19 அப்பொழுது, வேதபாரகன் ஒருவன் வந்து: போதகரே! நீர் எங்கே போனாலும் நான் உம்மைப் பின்பற்றி வருவேன் என்றான். And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

20 அதற்கு இயேசு: நரிகளுக்குக் குழிகளும் ஆகாயத்துப்பறவைகளுக்குக் கூடுகளும் உண்டு; மனுஷகுமாரனுக்கோ தலைசாய்க்க இடமில்லை என்றார். And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

21 அவருடைய சீஷர்களில் வேறொருவன் அவரை நோக்கி: ஆண்டவரே! முன்பு நான் போய், என் தகப்பனை அடக்கம்பண்ண எனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுக்கவேண்டும் என்றான். And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

22 அதற்கு இயேசு: மரித்தோர் தங்கள் மரித்தோரை அடக்கம் பண்ணட்டும், நீ என்னைப் பின்பற்றி வா என்றார். But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

23 அவர் படவில் ஏறினபோது அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் அவருக்குப் பின்சென்று ஏறினார்கள். And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

24 அப்பொழுது படவு அலைகளினால் மூடப்படத்தக்கதாய்க் கடலில் பெருங்காற்று உண்டாயிற்று, அவரோ நித்திரையாயிருந்தார். And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

25 அப்பொழுது, அவருடைய சீஷர்கள் வந்து அவரை எழுப்பி: ஆண்டவரே! எங்களை இரட்சியும், மடிந்துபோகிறோம் என்றார்கள். And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

26 அதற்கு அவர்: அற்பவிசுவாசிகளே! ஏன் பயப்படுகிறீர்கள் என்று சொல்லி; எழுந்து, காற்றையும் கடலையும் அதட்டினார். உடனே மிகுந்த அமைதலுண்டாயிற்று. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

27 அந்த மனுஷர்கள் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு: இவர் எப்படிப்பட்டவரோ, காற்றும் கடலும் இவருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதே என்றார்கள். But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

28 அவர் அக்கரையிலே கெர்கெசேனர் நாட்டில் வந்தபோது, பிசாசு பிடித்திருந்த இரண்டுபேர் பிரேதக்கல்லறைகளிலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, அவருக்கு எதிராக வந்தார்கள்; அவர்கள் மிகவும் கொடியராயிருந்தபடியால், அந்த வழியில் யாரும் நடக்கக்கூடாதிருந்தது. And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

29 அவர்கள் அவரை நோக்கி: இயேசுவே, தேவனுடைய குமாரனே, எங்களுக்கும் உமக்கும் என்ன? காலம் வருமுன்னே எங்களை வேதனைப்படுத்த இங்கே வந்தீரோ என்று கூப்பிட்டார்கள். And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

30 அவர்களுக்குக் கொஞ்சதூரத்திலே அநேகம் பன்றிகள் கூட்டமாக மேய்ந்துகொண்டிருந்தன. And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

31 அப்பொழுது, பிசாசுகள்: நீர் எங்களைத் துரத்துவீரானால், நாங்கள் அந்தப் பன்றிக்கூட்டத்தில் போகும்படி உத்தரவு கொடும் என்று அவரை வேண்டிக்கொண்டன. So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

32 அதற்கு அவர்: போங்கள் என்றார். அவைகள் புறப்பட்டு, பன்றிக்கூட்டத்தில் போயின. அப்பொழுது பன்றிக் கூட்டமெல்லாம் உயர்ந்த மேட்டிலிருந்து கடலிலே பாய்ந்து, ஜலத்தில் மாண்டு போயின. And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

33 அவைகளை மேய்த்தவர்கள் ஓடி, பட்டணத்தில் சென்று, இந்தச் சங்கதிகள் எல்லாவற்றையும், பிசாசு பிடித்திருந்தவர்களுக்குச் சம்பவித்தவைகளையும் அறிவித்தார்கள். And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.

34 அப்பொழுது, அந்தப் பட்டணத்தார் யாவரும் இயேசுவுக்கு எதிர்கொண்டுவந்து, அவரைக் கண்டு, தங்கள் எல்லைகளைவிட்டுப் போகும்படி வேண்டிக்கொண்டார்கள். And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.

1 Avar malaiyilirunthu iranginapothu, thiralaana janangal avarukkup pin sentarkal. When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

2 Appoluthu kushdaroki oruvan vanthu avaraip panninthu: aanndavarae! Umakkuch siththamaanaal, ennaich suththamaakka ummaal aakum entan. And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

3 Yesu thamathu kaiyai neetti avanaiththottu: enakkuch siththamunndu, suththamaaku entar. Udanae kushdarokam neengi avan suththamaanaan. And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

4 Yesu avanai Nnokki: ithai nee oruvarukkum sollaathapati echcharikkaiyaayiru; aayinum, avarkalukkuch saatchiyaaka nee poy aasaariyanukku unnaik kaannpiththu, Moses kattalaiyitta kaannikkaiyaich seluththu entar. And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

5 Yesu kapparnakoomil piravaesiththapothu, noottaுkku athipathi oruvan avaridaththil vanthu: And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,

6 Aanndavarae! En vaelaikkaaran veettilae thimirvaathamaayk kidanthu kotiya vaethanaippadukiraan entu avarai vaenntikkonndaan. And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.

7 Atharku Yesu: naan vanthu avanaich sosthamaakkuvaen entar. And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.

8 Noottaுkku athipathi pirathiyuththaramaaka: aanndavarae! Neer en veettukkul piravaesikka naan paaththiran alla; oru vaarththai maaththiram sollum, appoluthu en vaelaikkaaran sosthamaavaan. The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.

9 Naan athikaaraththukkuk geelppattirunthum, enakkuk geelppatikira sevakarumunndu; naan oruvanaip povental pokiraan, mattaொruvanai vaavental varukiraan, en vaelaikkaaranai ithaich sey ental seykiraan entan. 10 Yesu ithaik kaettu aachchariyappattu, thamakkup pin sellukiravarkalai Nnokki: isravaelarukkullum naan ippatippatta visuvaasaththai kaanavillai entu, meyyaakavae ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

11 Anaekar kilakkilum maerkilumirunthu vanthu, paralokaraajyaththil Abraham eesaakku yaakkopu enpavarkalotae panthiyiruppaarkal. And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.

12 Raajyaththin puththiraro purampaana irulilae thallappaduvaarkal; angae alukaiyum parkatippum unndaayirukkumentu ungalukkuch sollukiraேn. But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

13 Pinpu Yesu noottaுkku athipathiyai Nnokki: nee pokalaam, nee visuvaasiththapatiyae unakku aakakkadavathu entar. Antha naalikaiyilae avan vaelaikkaaran sosthamaanaan. And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

14 Yesu paethuruvin veettilae vanthu, avan maami juramaayk kidakkirathaik kanndaar. And when Jesus was come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick of a fever.

15 Avar aval kaiyaith thottavudanae juram avalaivittu neengittaு; aval elunthirunthu avarkalukkup pannivitai seythaal. And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them.

16 Asthamanamaanapothu, pisaasu pitiththiruntha anaekarai avaridaththil konndu vanthaarkal; avar antha aavikalaith thamathu vaarththaiyinaalae thuraththi, pinniyaalikalellaaraiyum sosthamaakkinaar: When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick:

17 Avar thaamae nammutaiya pelaveenangalai aettaுkkonndu, nammutaiya Nnoykalaich sumanthaar entu, aesaayaa theerkkatharisiyinaal uraikkappattathu niraivaeraுmpati ippati nadanthathu. 18 Pinpu, thiralaana janangal thammaich soolnthirukkirathaik kanndu, akkaraikkup pokakkattalaiyittar. Now when Jesus saw great multitudes about him, he gave commandment to depart unto the other side.

19 Appoluthu, vaethapaarakan oruvan vanthu: pothakarae! Neer engae ponaalum naan ummaip pinpatti varuvaen entan. And a certain scribe came, and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

20 Atharku Yesu: narikalukkuk kulikalum aakaayaththupparavaikalukkuk koodukalum unndu; manushakumaaranukko thalaisaaykka idamillai entar. And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

21 Avarutaiya seesharkalil vaeroruvan avarai Nnokki: aanndavarae! Munpu naan poy, en thakappanai adakkampannna enakku uththaravu kodukkavaenndum entan. And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

22 Atharku Yesu: mariththor thangal mariththorai adakkam pannnattum, nee ennaip pinpatti vaa entar. But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

23 Avar padavil aerinapothu avarutaiya seesharkal avarukkup pinsentu aerinaarkal. And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him.

24 Appoluthu padavu alaikalinaal moodappadaththakkathaayk kadalil perungaattaு unndaayittaு, avaro niththiraiyaayirunthaar. And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep.

25 Appoluthu, avarutaiya seesharkal vanthu avarai eluppi: aanndavarae! Engalai iratchiyum, matinthupokirom entarkal. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish.

26 Atharku avar: arpavisuvaasikalae! Aen payappadukireerkal entu solli; elunthu, kaattaைyum kadalaiyum athattinaar. Udanae mikuntha amaithalunndaayittaு. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

27 Antha manusharkal aachchariyappattu: ivar eppatippattavaro, kaattaுm kadalum ivarukkuk geelppatikirathae entarkal. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

28 Avar akkaraiyilae kerkesenar naattil vanthapothu, pisaasu pitiththiruntha iranndupaer piraethakkallaraikalilirunthu purappattu, avarukku ethiraaka vanthaarkal; avarkal mikavum kotiyaraayirunthapatiyaal, antha valiyil yaarum nadakkakkoodaathirunthathu. 29 Avarkal avarai Nnokki: Yesuvae, thaevanutaiya kumaaranae, engalukkum umakkum enna? Kaalam varumunnae engalai vaethanaippaduththa ingae vantheero entu kooppittarkal. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

30 Avarkalukkuk konjathooraththilae anaekam pantikal koottamaaka maeynthukonntirunthana. And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

31 Appoluthu, pisaasukal: neer engalaith thuraththuveeraanaal, naangal anthap pantikkoottaththil pokumpati uththaravu kodum entu avarai vaenntikkonndana. So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

32 Atharku avar: pongal entar. Avaikal purappattu, pantikkoottaththil poyina. Appoluthu pantik koottamellaam uyarntha maettilirunthu kadalilae paaynthu, jalaththil maanndu poyina. And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

33 Avaikalai maeyththavarkal oti, pattanaththil sentu, inthach sangathikal ellaavattaைyum, pisaasu pitiththirunthavarkalukkuch sampaviththavaikalaiyum ariviththaarkal. And they that kept them fled, and went their ways into the city, and told every thing, and what was befallen to the possessed of the devils.

34 Appoluthu, anthap pattanaththaar yaavarum Yesuvukku ethirkonnduvanthu, avaraik kanndu, thangal ellaikalaivittup pokumpati vaenntikkonndaarkal. And, behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus: and when they saw him, they besought him that he would depart out of their coasts.
