நெகேமியா 4:2
அந்த அற்பமான யூதர் செய்கிறது என்ன, அவர்களுக்கு இடங்கொடுக்கப்படுமோ, பலியிடுவார்களோ, ஒருநாளிலே முடித்துப்போடுவார்களோ, சுட்டெரித்துப் போடப்பட்டு மண்மேடுகளான கற்களுக்கு உயிர் கொடுப்பார்களோ, என்று தன் சகோதரருக்கும் சமாரியாவின் சேனைக்கும் முன்பாகச் சொன்னான்.

தேவன் வெட்டாந்தரைக்கு பூமி என்றும், சேர்ந்த தண்ணீருக்கு சமுத்திரம் என்றும் பெயரிட்டார்; தேவன் அது நல்லது என்று கண்டார்.

தேவன் அந்த காய்ந்த நிலத்துக்கு “பூமி” என்று பெயரிட்டார். ஒன்று சேர்ந்த தண்ணீருக்கு தேவன் “கடல்” என்று பெயரிட்டார். தேவன் இது நல்லது என்று கண்டார்.
