எங்கள் பகைஞர் எல்லாரும் அதைக் கேட்டபோதும், எங்கள் சுற்றுப்புறத்தாராகிய புறஜாதியான அனைவரும் கண்டபோதும், மிகவும் முனையற்றுப்போய், இந்தக் கிரியை எங்கள் தேவனால் கைகூடி வந்ததென்று அறிந்தார்கள்.

எங்கள் எதிரிகள் எல்லோரும் அதைக் கேட்டபோதும், எங்களை சுற்றிலும் இருக்கிற யூதரல்லாதவர்கள் அனைவரும் கண்டபோதும், மிகவும் நம்பிக்கையற்றுப்போய், இந்த செயல் எங்கள் தேவனால் கைகூடி வந்ததென்று அறிந்தார்கள்.

பிறகு எங்களது பகைவர்கள் எல்லாம் சுவர் கட்டி முடிக்கப்பட்டது என்பதைக் கேள்விப்பட்டனர். எங்களைச் சுற்றிலும் உள்ள நாட்டினர் சுவர் கட்டி முடிந்துவிட்டது என்பதைப் பார்த்தனர். எனவே அவர்கள் தமது தைரியத்தை இழந்தனர். ஏனென்றால் இவ்வேலை எங்கள் தேவனுடைய உதவியால் செய்யப்பட்டிருக்கிறது என்பதைப் புரிந்துகொண்டனர்.
