1 Kings 17:10
यसकारण एलिया सारपत गए। उनी शहरको फाटकमा पुगे अनि त्यहाँ एक जना स्त्रीलाई देखे। उसको पति मरेको थियो। आइमाई आगोको निम्ति दाउरा जम्मा गर्दै थिई। एलियाले उसलाई भने, “के तिमी मेरो निम्ति एउटा लोटामा अलि कति पानी ल्याउन सक्छौ म पिउन सकूँ?”

| behold, | וְהִנֵּה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| widow the | שָׁ֛ם | šām | shahm |
| woman | אִשָּׁ֥ה | ʾiššâ | ee-SHA |
| was there | אַלְמָנָ֖ה | ʾalmānâ | al-ma-NA |
| gathering | מְקֹשֶׁ֣שֶׁת | mĕqōšešet | meh-koh-SHEH-shet |
| sticks: of | עֵצִ֑ים | ʿēṣîm | ay-TSEEM |
| and he called | וַיִּקְרָ֤א | wayyiqrāʾ | va-yeek-RA |
| to | אֵלֶ֙יהָ֙ | ʾēlêhā | ay-LAY-HA |
| said, and her, | וַיֹּאמַ֔ר | wayyōʾmar | va-yoh-MAHR |
