राजा हिजकियाह अनि अगमवक्ता यशौया-आमोसका छोराले यो समस्याको विषयमा प्रार्थना गरे। तिनीहरूले ठूलो आवाजमा स्वर्गतिर हेरेर प्रार्थना गरे।

राजा हिजकियाहले ती कुराहरू ध्यानपूर्वक सुने। त्यसपछि उनले आफ्ना लुगाहरू च्याते अनि आफ्नो शोक प्रकट गरे। त्यसपछि उनले शोक वस्त्रहरू लगाए, अनि परमप्रभुको मन्दिर गए।
