गाद गएर दाऊदलाई भने, “कुनै तीनवटा मध्ये एउटा छान्नुः1-तपाईं र तपाईंको देशमा सात वर्ष सम्म अनिकाल लाग्नेछ।2-तपाईंका शत्रुहरूले तपाईंलाई तीन महीनासम्म खेद्ने छन्।3-देशमा तीन दिनसम्म महामारी फैलिनेछ।विचार गरेर कुनै एउटा छान्नुहोस्। जसमा म परमप्रभुलाई तपाईंको इच्छा जनाउन सकूँ। यसैको निम्ति परमप्रभुले मलाई तपाईंकहाँ पठाउनु भएको हो।”
