तिनीहरूले तिनीहरूको चाँदीको मूर्तिहरू सडकमा फ्याँकिदिने छन्। तिनीहरूको आफ्नो सुनको मूर्तिहरू अशुद्ध चीज जस्तै हुनेछन्। किन? किनकि जब परमप्रभुले क्रोध प्रकट गर्नु भयो त्यति बेला मूर्तिहरूले तिनीहरूलाई बचाउँन सकेन्। ती मूर्तिहरू मानिसका निम्ति पतनको जाल अतिरिक्त अरू थिएनन्। ती मूर्तिहरूले मानिसहरूलाई खाने कुरा दिन सकेनन्। ती मूर्तिहरूले तिनीहरूको पेटमा अन्न पुर्याएनन्।

They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity.
