Genesis 19:31
एक दिन उनका जेठी छोरीले आफ्नो बहिनीलाई भनी, “संसारमा कही पनि पुरूष र स्त्रीहरू विवाह गरेर आफ्नो सन्तान उत्पन्न गर्छन। तर हाम्रा पिता बृद्ध भई सकेका छन् अनि यहाँ वरिपरि हामीलाई सन्तान उत्पन्न गर्नका लागि समर्थन गर्ने कोही छैन।

| father Our | אָבִ֣ינוּ | ʾābînû | ah-VEE-noo |
| is old, | זָקֵ֑ן | zāqēn | za-KANE |
| and there is not | וְאִ֨ישׁ | wĕʾîš | veh-EESH |
| man a | אֵ֤ין | ʾên | ane |
| in the earth | בָּאָ֙רֶץ֙ | bāʾāreṣ | ba-AH-RETS |
| in come to | לָב֣וֹא | lābôʾ | la-VOH |
| unto | עָלֵ֔ינוּ | ʿālênû | ah-LAY-noo |
| manner the after us | כְּדֶ֖רֶךְ | kĕderek | keh-DEH-rek |
| of all | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| the earth: | הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
