Jeremiah 3:9
यहूदाले आफू वेश्या झैं कर्म गरिरहेको कुनै ध्यान नै दिएन। यसकारण उसले आफ्नो देश ‘अशुद्ध’ बनाई। उसले चट्टान र काठले बनिएका मूर्तिहरू पूजा गरेर व्यभिचारी पाप गरी।

| the land, | הָאָ֑רֶץ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
| adultery committed and | וַתִּנְאַ֥ף | wattinʾap | va-teen-AF |
| with | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| stones | הָאֶ֖בֶן | hāʾeben | ha-EH-ven |
| and with | וְאֶת | wĕʾet | veh-ET |
| stocks. | הָעֵֽץ׃ | hāʿēṣ | ha-AYTS |
