Leviticus 18 - YLT (Nepali)

1 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भननुभयो,

2 `Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, I `am' Jehovah your God;“इस्राएलीहरूलाई भन म तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ।

3 according to the work of the land of Egypt in which ye have dwelt ye do not, and according to the work of the land of Canaan whither I am bringing you in, ye do not, and in their statutes ye walk not.बितेका दिनहरूमा तिमीहरू मिश्रदेशमा थियौ मिश्रीहरूले त्यो देशमा गरिरहेका छन्। म तिमीहरूलाई कनान देशमा लैजाँदैछु यसर्थ तिमीहरूले त्यस्तो केही नगर जे त्यस ठाउँमा ती मानिसहरू गर्छन्। तिनीहरूको दस्तुर नमान्नु।

4 `My judgments ye do, and My statutes ye keep, to walk in them; I `am' Jehovah your God;तिमीहरूले मेरो विधि-विधानहरू मान्नुपर्छ र ती विधानहरूको अनुसरण गर। किन? किनभने, म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ।

5 and ye have kept My statutes and My judgments which man doth and liveth in them; I `am' Jehovah.यसकारण, तिमीहरूले मेरो विधि-विधानहरू पालन गर्नैपर्छ। जुन मानिसले यी विधि-विधानहरू पालन गर्छ, यहाँ तिनीहरू यस द्वारा बाँच्ने छौ।

6 `None of you unto any relation of his flesh doth draw near to uncover nakedness; I `am' Jehovah.“तिमीहरूले आफ्नो नजिक को आफन्तहरुसंग सहवास गर्नु हुँदैन। म परमप्रभु हुँ।

7 `The nakedness of thy father and the nakedness of thy mother thou dost not uncover, she `is' thy mother; thou dost not uncover her nakedness.“तैले तेरी आमासित लैंगिक सम्बन्ध राख्नु हुँदैन। यसले तेरा बुबालाई लाजमर्दो बनाउनेछ। तिनी तेरी आमा हुन् यसकारण तैंले तिनीसंग लैंगिक सम्बन्छ गर्नु हुँदैन।

8 `The nakedness of the wife of thy father thou dost not uncover; it `is' the nakedness of thy father.यदि उनी तिम्री आमा नभए पनि तिम्रा बाबुकी स्वास्नी भएकीले तिमीले उनीसित सहवास गर्नु हुँदैन। किन? किनभने त्यो तिम्रा बाबुसित सहवास गरे जस्तै हो।

9 `The nakedness of thy sister, daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, born at home or born without; thou dost not uncover their nakedness.बहिनी आमापट्टिको होस् अथवा बाबुपट्टिको अथवा उनी तिम्रै घरमा जन्मिएको होस् अथवा बाहिरबाट नै आएकी होस्, उनीसित तिमीले सहवास गर्नु हुँदैन।

10 `The nakedness of thy son's daughter, or of thy daughter's daughter: thou dost not uncover their nakedness; for theirs `is' thy nakedness.“तिम्री नातिनी तिम्रै परिवारको एउटा अंश हो यसर्थ तिमीले ऊसँग लैंगिक सम्बन्ध राख्नु हुँदैन।

11 `The nakedness of a daughter of thy father's wife, begotten of thy father, she `is' thy sister; thou dost not uncover her nakedness.“तिम्रा बाबु र उनकी स्वास्नीकी छोरी भए ऊ तिम्री बहिनी हो, तिमीले ऊ सित सहवास गर्नु हुँदैन।

12 `The nakedness of a sister of thy father thou dost not uncover; she `is' a relation of thy father.“तिम्रा बुबाकी दिदी-बहिनी उनको नजिककी आफन्त हुन्। यसर्थ तिनीहरूँग तिमीले लैंगिक सम्बन्ध राख्नु हुँदैन।

13 `The nakedness of thy mother's sister thou dost not uncover; for she `is' thy mother's relation.तिम्री आमाकी बहिनी-दिदी उनको अति नजिकको सम्बन्धी हुन्, यसर्थ उनीसित तिमीले सहवास गर्नु हुँदैन।

14 `The nakedness of thy father's brother thou dost not uncover; unto his wife thou dost not draw near; she `is' thine aunt.तिमीले तिम्रा बुबाका दाज्यू-भाईलाई उनकी स्वास्नीसित लैंगिक सम्बन्ध राखेर अपमान गर्नु हुँदैन किनभने तिनी तिमीहरूकी काकी हुन्।

15 `The nakedness of thy daughter-in-law thou dost not uncover; she `is' thy son's wife; thou dost not uncover her nakedness.“तिमीले तिम्री बुहारीसित लैंगिक सम्बन्ध राख्नु हुदैन तिनी तिम्रो छोराको स्वास्नी हुन्। तिमीले ऊसित लैंगिक सम्बन्ध राख्नु हुँदैन।

16 `The nakedness of thy brother's wife thou dost not uncover; it `is' thy brother's nakedness.“तिमीले आफ्नो भाउज्यूसित लैंगिक सम्बन्ध राख्नु हुँदैन, कारण यसो गर्छौ भने यो तिमीले आफ्नो दाज्यू भाईसित लैंगिक सम्बन्ध राखेको जस्तो हुनेछ।

17 `The nakedness of a woman and her daughter thou dost not uncover; her son's daughter, and her daughter's daughter thou dost not take to uncover her nakedness; they `are' her relations; it `is' wickedness.“आमा र उसकी छोरीसित तिमीले सहवास नगर। अनि यी आमाकी नातिनी हो चाहे उसको छोराकी छोरी होस्। ऊसित सहवास नगर। नातिनीहरू तिनको नजिकको सम्बन्धी हुन् र तिनीहरूसित सहवास गर्नु हुँदैन। उनीहरूसित सहवास गर्नु गलत हो।

18 `And a woman unto another thou dost not take, to be an adversary, to uncover her nakedness beside her, in her life.“जब तिम्री स्वास्नी अझै जीवित नै छिन् भने तिमीले उसकी दिदी बहिनीसित सहवास गर्नु हुँदैन, आफ्नी स्वास्नी जीवित रहे उसकी बहिनीलाई बिहे गर्नु हुँदैन कारण ती दिदी-बहिनीमा शत्रुता हुन्छ।

19 `And unto a woman in the separation of her uncleanness thou dost not draw near to uncover her nakedness.“तिमीले रजस्वला भएको समयमा एकजना स्रीसँग शारिरिक सम्बन्ध राख्न तिनको छेउमा जानु हुदैन किनभने त्यस समयमा तिनी अशुद्ध हुन्छिन्।

20 `And unto the wife of thy fellow thou dost not give thy seed of copulation, for uncleanness with her.“अनि तिमीले आफ्नो छिमेकीकी स्वास्नीसित पनि सहवास गर्नु हुँदैन यसले तिमीलाई अशुद्ध बनाउँछ।

21 `And of thy seed thou dost not give to pass over to the Molech; nor dost thou pollute the name of thy God; I `am' Jehovah.“तिमीले आफ्नो छोरा-छोरी आगोद्वारा मोलेकलाई नचढाऊ। यदि तिमीले यसो गर्छौ भने यसले बुझाउछ कि तिमीले आफ्ना परमेश्वरको नाउँलाई बदनाम गरिरहेका छौ। म तिम्रो परमप्रभु हुँ।

22 `And with a male thou dost not lie as one lieth with a woman; abomination it `is'.“तिमीले स्त्रीसित जस्तै मानिससित सहवास नगर। त्यो घोर पाप हो।

23 `And with any beast thou dost not give thy copulation, for uncleanness with it; and a woman doth not stand before a beast to lie down with it; confusion it `is'.“कुनै पशुसित सम्भोग नगर। यसले तिमीलाई अशुद्ध पार्छ। स्त्री जातिले पनि पशुसित सम्भोग गर्नु हुँदैन कारण यो अस्वाभाविक दुराचार हो।

24 `Ye are not defiled with all these, for with all these have the nations been defiled which I am sending away from before you;“तिमीहरू आफैं त्यस्ता अधर्म कर्महरू नगर कारण म त्यस्ता अधर्म कर्म गर्नेहरूलाई तिनीहरूको देशबाट निकाल्दैछु।

25 and the land is defiled, and I charge its iniquity upon it, and the land vomiteth out its inhabitants:तिनीहरूले आफ्नो भूमिलाई त्यसरी अशुद्ध बनाएको कारण अहिले त्यो भूमिले आफ्ना मानिसहरूलाई उच्छेद गरिरहेछ।

26 and ye -- ye have kept My statutes and My judgments, and do not `any' of all these abominations, the native and the sojourner who is sojourning in your midst,“यसर्थ तिमीहरूले मेरा विधि-विधानहरू मान्नुपर्छ र तिमीहरूले कुनै पनि त्यस्ता अधर्म पाप कर्म गर्नु हुँदैन। यी विधानहरू इस्राएलीहरूका निम्ति हुन्, अनि यी नियमहरू तिमीहरूसँगै त्यहाँ बस्नेहरूका निम्ति पनि हुन्।

27 (for all these abominations have the men of the land done who `are' before you, and the land is defiled),त्यो भूमि अशुद्ध भएको छ कारण त्यहाँ पहिलेका बासिन्दाहरूले त्यस्ता घोर पाप कर्महरू गरेका थिए।

28 and the land doth not vomit you out in your defiling it, as it hath vomited out the nation which `is' before you;यदि तिमीहरूले पनि त्यसै गर्यौ भने ती पहिलेका मानिसहरूलाई जसरी त्यो भूमिले हटाएको थियो तिमीहरूलाई पनि हटाउनेछ।

29 for any one who doth `any' of all these abominations -- even the persons who are doing `so', have been cut off from the midst of their people;यदि कुनै मानिसले त्यस्तो घोर पाप कर्म गरे त्यस मानिसलाई उसको आफन्तहरूबाट अलग गरिनेछ।

30 and ye have kept My charge, so as not to do `any' of the abominable statutes which have been done before you, and ye do not defile yourselves with them; I `am' Jehovah your God.'अन्य मानिसहरूले त्यस्तो अधर्म पाप कर्म गरेका थिए। तर तिमीहरू मेरो विधि-विधानहरू पालन गरेर बस अनि त्यस्ता अधर्म पाप कर्महरू कुनै पनि नगर। ती पाप कर्महरू गरेर आफैंलाई अशुद्ध नपार, म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ।”
