Leviticus 19 - YLT (Nepali)

1 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो,

2 `Speak unto all the company of the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, Ye are holy, for holy `am' I, Jehovah, your God.“इस्राएलका सबै मानिसहरूलाई भनः म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ। तिमीहरू सबै पवित्र होऊ, कारण म पवित्र छु।

3 `Each his mother and his father ye do fear, and My sabbaths ye do keep; I `am' Jehovah your God.“तिमीहरू मध्ये प्रत्येकले आफ्नो आमा-बाबुलाई सम्मान गर्नुपर्छ अनि विश्रामको दिन पालन गर्नुपर्छ। म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ।

4 `Ye do not turn unto the idols, and a molten god ye do not make to yourselves; I `am' Jehovah your God.“मूर्तिहरूको पूजा नगर अनि आफ्नो निम्ति धातु पगालेर देवताहरूको मूर्तिहरू नबनाऊ। म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ।

5 `And when ye sacrifice a sacrifice of peace-offerings to Jehovah, at your pleasure ye do sacrifice it;“जब तिमीहरूले परमप्रभुलाई मेलबलि चढाउछौ, तिमीहरूले रीतिपूर्वक त्यो चढाउनुपर्छ जसले गर्दा तिमीहरूले चढाएको परमप्रभुले ग्रहण गरून।

6 in the day of your sacrificing it is eaten, and on the morrow, and that which is left unto the third day with fire is burnt,तिमीले यसलाई त्यही दिन खान सक्छौ जुन दिन तिनीहरू यसकाई चढाउँछौ। अनि अर्को दिन पनि खान सक्छौ। तर यदि कुनै बलि तेस्रो दिनसम्म रहेको छ भने यसलाई आगोमा जलाउनुपर्छ।

7 and if it be really eaten on the third day, it `is' an abomination, it is not pleasing,तेस्रो दिनसम्म रहेको बलि अशुद्ध हुन्छ, यसर्थ त्यो खानु हुँदैन।

8 and he who is eating it his iniquity doth bear, for the holy thing of Jehovah he hath polluted, and that person hath been cut off from his people.यदि कुनै मानिसले यसलाई खान्छ त्यो मानिस पापको दोषी हुन्छ किनभने उसले परमप्रभुको पवित्र चीजहरूको सम्मान गरेको हुँदैन। त्यस मानिसलाई आफ्ना मानिसहरूबाट छुट्‌याउनु पर्छ।

9 `And in your reaping the harvest of your land ye do not completely reap the corner of thy field, and the gleaning of thy harvest thou dost not gather,“जब तिमीहरू बाली उठाउने समय भएपछि आफ्नो बाली काट्छौ, खेतको आखिरी कुनासम्म नकाट अनि उठाउँदा भूँईमा झरेको अन्न नटिप।

10 and thy vineyard thou dost not glean, even the omitted part of thy vineyard thou dost not gather, to the poor and to the sojourner thou dost leave them; I `am' Jehovah your God.जब तिमीहरू अंङ्गूरको बोटबाट अंङ्गूर टिप्छौ, सबै अंङ्गूर न टिप अथवा झरेको अंङ्गूर नटिप। तिनीहरूको भूमिमा भएका गरीब अनि विदेशीहरू निम्ति छाडी देऊ। म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ।

11 `Ye do not steal, nor feign, nor lie one against his fellow.“तिमीहरूले चोर्नु हुँदैन, मानिसहरूलाई ठग्नु हुँदैन अनि एकार्कामा झूठो नबोल्नु।

12 `And ye do not swear by My name to falsehood, or thou hast polluted the name of thy God; I `am' Jehovah.मेरो नाम लिएर झूटो कसम नखाऊ, यदि त्यसो गर्छौ तिमीहरूले परमेश्वरको नामलाई सम्मान नगरेको बुझिनेछ। म परमप्रभु हुँ।

13 `Thou dost not oppress thy neighbour, nor take plunder; the wages of the hireling doth not remain with thee till morning.“तिमीहरूले आफ्नो छिमेकीसित नराम्रो काम नगर। उसलाई नलुट। तिमीहरूले कुनै हाजिरामा काम गर्ने मानिसको हाजिरा एक रातभरिको निम्ति पनि नरोक।

14 `Thou dost not revile the deaf; and before the blind thou dost not put a stumbling block; and thou hast been afraid of thy God; I `am' Jehovah.“बहिरका मानिसलाई नसराप। अन्धालाई लडाउने हेतुले उसको बाटोमा केही नराख। आफ्ना परमेश्वरको सम्मान गर्नुपर्छ। म परमप्रभु हुँ।

15 `Ye do not do perversity in judgment; thou dost not lift up the face of the poor, nor honour the face of the great; in righteousness thou dost judge thy fellow.“न्याय गर्दा सच्चाइले गर्नुपर्छ। न्याय गर्दा गरीब अथवा दया र धनी भनी सम्मान नगर। आफ्नो छिमेकीसित न्याय गर्दा पनि सच्चाइले न्याय गर्नुपर्छ।

16 `Thou dost not go slandering among thy people; thou dost not stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I `am' Jehovah.मानिसहरूको विरूद्ध झूठा कुराहरू गरेर नहिंड्। यस्तो कुनै काम नगर् जुन तिम्रो कामले छिमेकी विपदमा पर्न सक्छ। म परमप्रभु हुँ।

17 `Thou dost not hate thy brother in thy heart; thou dost certainly reprove thy fellow, and not suffer sin on him.“तिमीले हृदयबाट आफ्ना इस्राएली मित्रलाई घृणा गर्नु हुँदैन। यदि तिम्रो छिमेकीले केही अनिष्ट गरेको छ भने उसलाई जानकारी देऊ, तिमीहरू उसले गर्दा पापको दोषी हुने छैनौ।

18 `Thou dost not take vengeance, nor watch the sons of thy people; and thou hast had love to thy neighbour as thyself; I `am' Jehovah.मानिसहरूले तिमीप्रति गरेका अनिष्ट कामहरू बिर्सिदेऊ। तिम्रा छिमेकीहरूलाई आफूलाई झैं माया गर। म परमप्रभु हुँ।

19 `My statutes ye do keep: thy cattle thou dost not cause to gender `with' diverse kinds; thy field thou dost not sow with diverse kinds, and a garment of diverse kinds, shaatnez, doth not go up upon thee.“तिमीहरूले मैले भनेको नियमहरू पालन गर्नैपर्छ। दुई प्रकारका पशुहरू मिसिन नदेऊ। आफ्नो खेतमा दुई प्रकारका बीउ नछर। दुई प्रकारका धागाले बनिएको लुगा नलगाऊ।

20 `And when a man lieth with a woman with seed of copulation, and she a maid-servant, betrothed to a man, and not really ransomed, or freedom hath not been given to her, an investigation there is; they are not put to death, for she `is' not free.“यदि कुनै मानिसले अर्काकी कमारी जो आफ्नो मालिकबाट छुट्करा पाइसकेकी छैन त्यससँग सहवास गरे तिनीहरू दुईलाई सजाय दिनुपर्छ तर मृत्युदण्ड होइन। किनभने त्यो कमारी आइमाईले आफ्नो मालिकबाट छुटकारा पाइसकेकी थिइन्।

21 `And he hath brought in his guilt-offering to Jehovah, unto the opening of the tent of meeting, a ram `for' a guilt-offering,त्यस मानिसले आफ्नो दोषबलि परमप्रभुकहाँ भेट हुने पालको ढोकामा ल्याउनुपर्छ। त्यस मानिसले दोषबलिको निम्ति भेडा ल्याउनुपर्छ।

22 and the priest hath made atonement for him with the ram of the guilt-offering before Jehovah, for his sin which he hath sinned, and it hath been forgiven him because of his sin which he hath sinned.त्यस मानिसले पाप गरे बापत उसको पाप मोचनको निम्ती पूजाहारीले परमप्रभुअघि भेडा चढाउनेछन् त्यसपछि त्यो मानिस उसले गरेको पापहरूबाट मुक्त हुनेछ।

23 `And when ye come in unto the land, and have planted all `kinds' of trees `for' food, then ye have reckoned as uncircumcised its fruit, three years it is to you uncircumcised, it is not eaten,“भविष्यमा तिमी आफ्नो देशमा जानेछौ र त्यहाँ धेरै फलका बोटहरू खानको निम्ति रोप्नेछौ। तर तीन वर्षसम्म तिमीले ती बोटहरूबाट फल प्रयोग गर्न पाउने छैनौ।

24 and in the fourth year all its fruit is holy -- praises for Jehovah.चौथो वर्षमा फलेका फलहरू परमप्रभुमा प्रशंसाको निम्ती हुनेछन्। यी फलहरू परमप्रभुको निम्ति पवित्र बलि हुनेछ।

25 And in the fifth year ye do eat its fruit -- to add to you its increase; I `am' Jehovah your God.त्यसपछि पाँचौ वर्षमा फलेको फलहरू तिमीहरू खान सक्छौ। यदि तिमीहरूले यसो गर्छौ बोटहरूले धेरै फल फलाउने छन्। म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ।

26 `Ye do not eat with the blood; ye do not enchant, nor observe clouds.“यदि कुनै मासुमा रगत रहेको छ भने तिमीले त्यो मासु खानु हुँदैन।“भविष्यको विषयमा बताउँदा तन्त्र-मन्त्र अथवा जादू प्रयोग नगर।

27 `Ye do not round the corner of your head, nor destroy the corner of thy beard.“तिम्रो अनुहारको छेउमा बढेको कपाल नकाट अनि तिम्रो दाह्रीको छेऊ नछाँट।

28 `And a cutting for the soul ye do not put in your flesh; and a writing, a cross-mark, ye do not put on you; I `am' Jehovah.मृत मानिसको सम्झनामा शरीरको मासु नकाट। तिम्रो आफ्नो शरीरमा कुनै छाप नबनाउन्। म परमप्रभु हुँ।

29 `Thou dost not pollute thy daughter to cause her to go a-whoring, that the land go not a-whoring, and the land hath been full of wickedness.“तिम्रो छोरीलाई वेश्या बनाएर अपमान नगर। तिम्रो देशलाई यस्ता पापहरूद्वारा भरिन नदेऊ अनि देशमा मानिसहरूलाई वेश्या हुने अनुमति नदेऊ।

30 `My sabbaths ye do keep, and My sanctuary ye do reverence; I `am' Jehovah.“तिमीले विश्रामका दिनहरूमा काम नगर। तिमीले मेरो पवित्रस्थानको आदर गर्नुपर्छ। म परमप्रभु हुँ।

31 `Ye do not turn unto those having familiar spirits; and unto wizards ye do not seek, for uncleanness by them; I `am' Jehovah your God.“तिमीहरू झाँक्री-जादूगर बोक्सी तथा मन्त्र गर्नेतिर नलाग अनि आफैंलाई तिनीहरूबाट अशुद्ध नपार। म तिमीहरूको परमप्रभु परमेश्वर हुँ।

32 `At the presence of grey hairs thou dost rise up, and thou hast honoured the presence of an old man, and hast been afraid of thy God; I `am' Jehovah.“बूढा-पाका मानिसहरूलाई उभिएर सम्मान गर जब तिनीहरू तिम्रो एउटा कोठामा अथवा घरभित्र पस्छन्। आफ्ना परमेश्वरको डर अनि सम्मान गर। म परमप्रभु हुँ।

33 `And when a sojourner sojourneth with thee in your land, thou dost not oppress him;“तिमीहरूको आफ्नो देशमा बसोबासो गर्ने विदेशीहरूसित दुर्व्यवहार नगर। विदेशीहरूलाई र देशवासीहरूलाई समान व्यवहार गर,

34 as a native among you is the sojourner to you who is sojourning with you, and thou hast had love to him as to thyself, for sojourners ye have been in the land of Egypt; I `am' Jehovah your God.तिनीहरूलाई माया गर जस्तो आफूलाई गर्छौ किनभने तिमीहरू पनि मिश्रको भूमिमा विदेशी थियौ। म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ।

35 `Ye do not do perversity in judgment, in mete-yard, in weight, or in liquid measure;“तिमीले मानिसहरूलाई सच्चाइसँग न्याय गर। जब तिमी केही चीज नाप्छौ अनि तौलिन्छौ निष्पक्षतापूर्वक नाप अनि तौल।

36 righteous balances, righteous weights, a righteous ephah, and a righteous hin ye have; I `am' Jehovah your God, who hath brought you out from the land of Egypt;तिमीसित तौलिन ढक तराजू र नाप, र तौलहरू ठीक हुनुपर्छ। म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूको परमेश्वर हुँ। मैले तिमीहरूलाई मिश्रदेशबाट बाहिर ल्याएँ।

37 and ye have observed all my statutes, and all my judgments, and have done them; I `am' Jehovah.'“तिमीहरूले मेरो विधि-विधानहरू सबै जानेर पालन गर्नुपर्छ। म परमप्रभु हुँ।”
