Leviticus 21 - DBY (Nepali)

1 And Jehovah said to Moses, Speak unto the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none make himself unclean for a dead person among his peoples,परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो, “यी कुराहरू हारूनका छोराहरू पूजाहारीहरूलाई भनः पूजाहारीले लाश छोएर आफैंलाई अशुद्ध पार्नु हुँदैन।

2 except for his immediate relation, who is near unto him -- for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother;तर यदि मृतक मानिस उनको साक्खै पर्ने हो भने मात्र उनले लाश छोएर आफूलाई अशुद्ध पार्न सक्छन्। यदि मृतक मानिस उनका आमा अथवा बाबु, उनका छोरा-छोरी, दाज्यू-भाइ।

3 and for his sister, a virgin, that is near unto him, who hath had no husband, for her may he make himself unclean.अथवा अविवाहित दिदी-बहिनी भए तिनले लाश छोएर आफैंलाई अशुद्ध पार्न सक्छन्। (कन्ये दिदी अथवा बहिनी उनको साक्खै मानिन्छ जबसम्म तिनीहरूको बिहे हुँदैन, यसर्थ तिनीहरू मरेको खण्ड पूजाहारीले लाश छोएर आफूलाई अशुद्ध पार्न सक्छन्।)

4 He shall not make himself unclean [who is] a chief among his peoples, to profane himself.तर यदि मरेको मानिस बिहे द्वारा आफन्त पर्छ, पूजाहारीले लाशलाई छोएर त्यसले उ आफूलाई अशुद्ध बनाउन सक्दैनन्।

5 They shall not make any baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corners of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.“पूजाहारीहरूले शोक गर्न आफ्नो केश नखौराउन्, दाह्रीको कुना कुना नकाटुन् अनि शरीरमा कुनै चोट नबनाउन्।

6 They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God; for they present Jehovah's offerings by fire, the bread of their God; therefore shall they be holy.पूजाहारीहरू आफ्नो परमेश्वरको नाममा सम्मान देखाउनु पर्छ। किन? किनभने तिनीहरूले परमप्रभुको निम्ति आगोद्वारा बलिहरू चढाउँछन जो तिनीहरूको परमेश्वरको निम्ति खाद्य हो। यसर्थ उनीहरू पवित्र रहनुपर्छ।

7 They shall not take as wife a whore, or a dishonoured woman; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband; for he is holy unto his God.“पूजाहारीले परमेश्वरलाई विशेष रूपले सेवा गर्छ यसकारण तिनीहरू कुनै वेश्या, कुनै अरू मानिससित सहवास गरेकी स्त्री अथवा कुनै मानिसले त्योगेकी स्त्रीसित बिहे नगरून्।

8 And thou shalt hallow him; for the bread of thy God doth he present: he shall be holy unto thee; for I, Jehovah, who hallow you am holy.पूजाहारीलाई पवित्र व्यवहार गरिनु पर्छ। किन? किनभने तिनीहरूले परमेश्वरको निम्ति खाद्य बोक्छन् अनि म पवित्र छु। म परमप्रभु हुँ अनि म तिमीलाई पवित्र बनाउँछु।

9 And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burned with fire.“यदि एकजना पूजाहारीकी छोरी वेश्या भई भने उसले आफ्नो सम्मान नष्ट पार्छे, आफ्नो बाबुलाई लाजमर्दो पार्छे, यसर्थ उसालाई आगोमा जलाउनुपर्छ।

10 And the high priest among his brethren, on whose head the anointing oil was poured, and who is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his garments.“प्रमुख पूजाहारी आफ्नैं दाज्यू-भाइहरूबाट छानिन्छन् अनि उनको टाउकोमा अभिषेक तेल खन्याइन्छ। यसरी उनलाई प्रमुख पूजाहारीको विशेष कार्यको निम्ति छानिन्छ। उनको वस्त्रादि पनि विशेष हुन्छ। यसर्थ उनले मानिसहरूअघि शोक गर्नु हुँदैन। उनले आफ्नो कपाल फुकाउनु हुँदैन अनि लुगा च्यात्नु हुँदैन।

11 Neither shall he come near any person dead, nor make himself unclean for his father and for his mother;यदि उनको बुबा अथवा आमा मरेको भए पनि उनी लाशको छेऊमा नजाऊन् र लाश छोएर उनले आफूलाई अशुद्ध नबाऊन्।

12 neither shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am Jehovah.प्रधान पूजाहारी पवित्र स्थानबाहिर जानुहुँदैन, यदि ऊ मलामि जान्छ ऊ अपवित्र हुनेछ। तब उसले पवित्र स्थानलाई अपवित्र बनाउँछ। अभिषेक तेल उनको टाउकोमा खन्याएर उनलाई मानिसहरूबाट छुट्‌याइन्छ हो। म परमप्रभु हुँ।

13 And he shall take a wife in her virginity.“प्रधान पूजाहारीले कन्ये केटीलाई बिहे गर्नुपर्छ।

14 A widow, or a divorced woman, or a dishonoured one, a harlot, these shall he not take; but he shall take as wife a virgin from among his peoples.प्रमुख पूजाहारीले वेश्या, छुटानाम गरेकी आइमाई र विधवालाई बिहे गर्नु हुँदैन। प्रमुख पूजाहारूरीले आफ्ना मानिसहरुबाट कन्येलाई मात्र बिहे गर्नु पर्छ।

15 And he shall not profane his seed among his peoples; for I am Jehovah who do hallow him.यसरी उनका नानीहरूलाई अरू मानिसहरूले आदर गर्नेछन्। उनको विशेष कार्यको निम्ति म परमप्रभुले उनलाई अग्ग राखेको छु।”

16 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,परमप्रभुले मोशालाई भन्नुभयो,

17 Speak unto Aaron, saying, Any of thy seed throughout their generations that hath any defect, shall not approach to present the bread of his God;“हारूनलाई भन; यदि उनका सन्तानहरू मध्ये कसैमा कुनै शारीरिक खोट भए, उसले आफ्नो परमेश्वरलाई खाद्य चढाउने निवेदन गर्नु हुदैन।

18 for whatever man hath a defect, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or one limb longer than the other,कुनै मानिस जसको केही खोट भएको भए उसले पूजाहारी भएर मलाई सेवा नगरोस् मेरो निम्ति बलिहरू नल्याओस्। यस्ता मानिसहरूले पूजाहारी भएर सेवा गर्न सक्तैनन्,अन्धा मानिसहरू, लङ्गडा मानिसहरू, अनुहारमा नराम्रा दाग भएका मानिसहरू, हात अथवा खुट्टाहरू लामा-लामा भएका मानिसहरू,

19 or a man that is broken-footed, or broken-handed,हात अथवा खुट्टा भाँचिएका मानिसहरू,

20 or hump-backed, or withered, or that hath a spot in his eye, or hath the itch, or scabs, or his testicles broken.कुप्रो पिठिउँ भएको, बाउन्ने, आँखाको रोग भएको, चिलाउने घाउ भएको, लुतो लागेको, संन्धिमा चोटलागेको नपुंसक मानिसहरू।

21 No man of the seed of Aaron the priest that hath defect shall come near to present Jehovah's offerings by fire: he hath a defect; he shall not come near to present the bread of his God.हारूनका सन्तानहरूमध्ये विकृति भएकोहुनाले परमप्रभुलाई आगोद्वारा बलिहरू चढाउन सक्दैन अनि उसले आफ्नो परमेश्वरलाई पुर्याउनु सक्दैन।

22 The bread of his God, of the most holy and of the holy, shall he eat;त्यो मानिस पूजाहारीको परिवारको एकजना सदस्य भएकोले गर्दा उसले आफ्नो परमेश्वरको दुवै पवित्र अनि महापवित्र खाद्य खानु सक्छ।

23 only he shall not come in unto the veil, nor shall he draw near unto the altar; for he hath a defect: that he profane not my sanctuaries; for I am Jehovah who do hallow them.तर अति पवित्र स्थानमा पर्दाबाट जान सक्तैन अनि वेदीको नजिक पनि जानु सक्तैन। किन? किनभने उसलाई केही खोट लागिको छ र उसले पवित्र स्थानलाई अपवित्र पार्नु हुँदैन। म परमप्रभुले ती स्थानहरू पवित्र पारेको छु।”

24 And Moses told it to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel.यसर्थ मोशाले यी कुराहरू हारून, उनका छोराहरू अनि इस्राएलका समस्त मानिसहरूलाई भन्नुभयो।
