Leviticus 23:22
“जब तिमीहरू आफ्नो जमीनमा बाली उठाउँछौ खेतको कुना-कुनासम्म नउठाऊ अनि त्यसरी छोडीएको अन्न उठाउनु फर्केर नजाऊ। ती सब गरीबहरू तथा तिमीहरूको जमीन भएर जाने विदेशीहरूको निम्ति छोडी देऊ। म परमप्रभु तिमीहरूका परमेश्वर हुँ।”

| not shalt thou | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| make clean riddance | תְכַלֶּ֞ה | tĕkalle | teh-ha-LEH |
| corners the of | פְּאַ֤ת | pĕʾat | peh-AT |
| of thy field | שָֽׂדְךָ֙ | śādĕkā | sa-deh-HA |
| when thou reapest, | בְּקֻצְרֶ֔ךָ | bĕquṣrekā | beh-koots-REH-ha |
| neither | וְלֶ֥קֶט | wĕleqeṭ | veh-LEH-ket |
| shalt thou gather | קְצִֽירְךָ֖ | qĕṣîrĕkā | keh-tsee-reh-HA |
| any gleaning | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| harvest: thy of | תְלַקֵּ֑ט | tĕlaqqēṭ | teh-la-KATE |
| thou shalt leave | לֶֽעָנִ֤י | leʿānî | leh-ah-NEE |
| poor, the unto them | וְלַגֵּר֙ | wĕlaggēr | veh-la-ɡARE |
| and to the stranger: | תַּֽעֲזֹ֣ב | taʿăzōb | ta-uh-ZOVE |
| I | אֹתָ֔ם | ʾōtām | oh-TAHM |
| am the Lord | אֲנִ֖י | ʾănî | uh-NEE |
| your God. | יְהוָ֥ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
