त्यति बेला शाऊलले भने, “मेरो निम्ति होमबलि र मेलबलि जुटाइदेऊ।” त्यसपछि शाऊलले होमबलि चढाए।

| said, | שָׁא֔וּל | šāʾûl | sha-OOL |
| Bring hither | הַגִּ֣שׁוּ | haggišû | ha-ɡEE-shoo |
| offering burnt a | אֵלַ֔י | ʾēlay | ay-LAI |
| to | הָֽעֹלָ֖ה | hāʿōlâ | ha-oh-LA |
| offerings. peace and me, | וְהַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים | wĕhaššĕlāmîm | veh-ha-sheh-la-MEEM |
| And he offered | וַיַּ֖עַל | wayyaʿal | va-YA-al |
| the burnt offering. | הָֽעֹלָֽה׃ | hāʿōlâ | HA-oh-LA |
