तिनीहरू विलाप गरेर रोइरहेको समयमा तिम्रो विषयमा यो शोक गीत गाउँछन अनि रूँनेछन‘कोही टायर जस्तो छैन! समुद्रको बीचमा टायर नष्ट गरिदियो।

| thee, and lament | וְקוֹנְנ֖וּ | wĕqônĕnû | veh-koh-neh-NOO |
| over | עָלָ֑יִךְ | ʿālāyik | ah-LA-yeek |
| What saying, thee, | מִ֣י | mî | mee |
| city is like Tyrus, | כְצ֔וֹר | kĕṣôr | heh-TSORE |
| destroyed the like | כְּדֻמָ֖ה | kĕdumâ | keh-doo-MA |
| in the midst | בְּת֥וֹךְ | bĕtôk | beh-TOKE |
| of the sea? | הַיָּֽם׃ | hayyām | ha-YAHM |
