ହିଜକିଯ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷଯ ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତତାର ସହିତ ସମାପ୍ତ କରିବା ପରେ ଏହିପରି ଘଟିଲା, ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ୍ ଯିହୁଦା ଦେଶ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ୍ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଦୁର୍ଗଗୁଡ଼ିକର ବାହା ରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ। ସେ ସହେି ସହରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବାର ଯୋଜନା କରିଥିବାରୁ ଏହିପରି କଲେ। ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ୍ ନିଜ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହିସବୁ ସହର ଜଯ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଥିଲେ।

ହିଜକିଯ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ବିଷଯ ବିଶ୍ବସ୍ତତାର ସହିତ ସମାପ୍ତ କରିବା ପରେ ଏହିପରି ଘଟିଲା, ଅଶୂରର ରାଜା ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ୍ ଯିହୁଦା ଦେଶ ଆକ୍ରମଣ କରିବାକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ୍ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସୈନ୍ଯଦଳ ଦୁର୍ଗଗୁଡ଼ିକର ବାହା ରେ ଛାଉଣୀ ସ୍ଥାପନ କଲେ। ସେ ସହେି ସହରଗୁଡ଼ିକୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବାର ଯୋଜନା କରିଥିବାରୁ ଏହିପରି କଲେ। ସନ୍ ହରେୀବ୍ ନିଜ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏହିସବୁ ସହର ଜଯ କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କରୁଥିଲେ।
