2 Samuel 20:15
ଯୋୟାବ ଏବଂ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନେ ଆସିଲେ ଏବଂ ବୈଥମାଖାସ୍ଥୀତ ଆବଲେ ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ ଓ ନଗର ନିକଟରେ ଏକ ତିପି ପ୍ରସ୍ତକ୍ସ୍ଟତ କଲେ। ତାହା ଗଡପାଚରେୀ ପାଖ ରେ ନିର୍ମିତ ହେଲା, ତହିଁରେ ଯୋୟାବର ସମସ୍ତ ସଙ୍ଗୀଲୋକ ପାଚରେୀ ଭୂମିସାତ୍ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଭାଙ୍ଗିବାକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଲାଗିଲେ।

| and they cast up | הַֽמַּעֲכָ֔ה | hammaʿăkâ | ha-ma-uh-HA |
| bank a | וַיִּשְׁפְּכ֤וּ | wayyišpĕkû | va-yeesh-peh-HOO |
| against | סֹֽלְלָה֙ | sōlĕlāh | soh-leh-LA |
| the city, | אֶל | ʾel | el |
| stood it and | הָעִ֔יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| in the trench: | וַֽתַּעֲמֹ֖ד | wattaʿămōd | va-ta-uh-MODE |
| all and | בַּחֵ֑ל | baḥēl | ba-HALE |
| the people | וְכָל | wĕkāl | veh-HAHL |
| that | הָעָם֙ | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| with were | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| Joab | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| battered | יוֹאָ֔ב | yôʾāb | yoh-AV |
| the wall, | מַשְׁחִיתִ֖ם | mašḥîtim | mahsh-hee-TEEM |
| to throw it down. | לְהַפִּ֥יל | lĕhappîl | leh-ha-PEEL |
| הַֽחוֹמָֽה׃ | haḥômâ | HA-hoh-MA |
