ଯିହୂଦୀ ନେତାମାନେ ଯୀଶୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ଉପରେ ଆଲୋଚନା କଲେ। ସମାନେେ କୁହାକୁହି ହେଲେ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯଦି କହିବା ଯେ, ' ଯୋହନଙ୍କ ବାପ୍ତିସ୍ମ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ଠାରୁ ଆସିଥିଲା', ତବେେ ଯୀଶୁ କହିବେ, ' ତବେେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଯୋହନଙ୍କୁ କାହିଁକି ବିଶ୍ବାସ କଲ ନାହିଁ?'
