ମୁଁ ଦେଖୁଛି, ତୁମ୍ଭ ମନ ରେ ତିକ୍ତତା ପୁରି ରହିଛ ଓ ପାପ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଉପରେ କତ୍ତୃର୍ତ୍ବ କରୁଛି।

என்னில் நிலைத்திருங்கள், நானும் உங்களில் நிலைத்திருப்பேன்; கொடியானது திராட்சைச்செடியில் நிலைத்திராவிட்டால் அது தானாக கனிகொடுக்காததுபோல, நீங்களும் என்னில் நிலைத்திராவிட்டால், கனிகொடுக்கமாட்டீர்கள்.

நீங்கள் என்னில் நிலைத்திருங்கள். நானும் உங்களில் நிலைத்திருப்பேன். எந்தக் கிளையும் தனியாகக் கனிகொடுக்க இயலாது. அது செடியிலேயே தொடர்ந்து இருக்கவேண்டும். இதுபோலத்தான் நீங்களும். நீங்கள் தனியாக இருந்து கனிதர முடியாது. என்னோடு சேர்ந்தே இருக்கவேண்டும்.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.
