ଆମାଷଙ୍କେ ବାର୍ତ୍ତା: ତକୋଯ ନଗରର ମଷେପାଳକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ ଆମାଷେ ଥିଲେ ଅନ୍ୟତମ।

இப்போதும் கர்த்தர்: நீ போய் அமலேக்கியர்களாகிய அந்தப் பாவிகளைக் கொன்று, அவர்களை முழுவதுமாக அழிக்கும்வரை, அவர்களோடு யுத்தம்செய் என்று சொல்லி, உம்மை அந்த வழியாக அனுப்பினார்.

கர்த்தருக்கு உன்னை சிறப்பான கடமை நிறைவேற்ற அனுப்பினார். கர்த்தர் சொன்னார், ‘போய் அமலேக்கியரை முழுமையாக அழி! அவர்கள் தீயவர்கள். எல்லோரும் கொல்லப்படும்வரை போரிடு!’ என்றார்.
