Amos 9:5
ମାରେପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ସର୍ବଶକ୍ତିମାନ ପୃଥିବୀକୁ ସ୍ପର୍ଶ କରିବେ ଏବଂ ତାହା ତରଳି ୟିବ। ତତ୍ପ ରେ ସଠାେ ରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକ ମୃତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବିଳାପ କରିବେ। ମିଶରର ନୀଳନଦୀ ପରି ସହେି ଭୂମିର ଉତ୍ଥାନ ପତନ ଘଟିବ।

| land, the | בָּאָ֙רֶץ֙ | bāʾāreṣ | ba-AH-RETS |
| and it shall melt, | וַתָּמ֔וֹג | wattāmôg | va-ta-MOɡE |
| all and | וְאָבְל֖וּ | wĕʾoblû | veh-ove-LOO |
| that dwell | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| mourn: shall therein | י֣וֹשְׁבֵי | yôšĕbê | YOH-sheh-vay |
| and it shall rise up | בָ֑הּ | bāh | va |
| wholly | וְעָלְתָ֤ה | wĕʿoltâ | veh-ole-TA |
| like a flood; | כַיְאֹר֙ | kayʾōr | hai-ORE |
| drowned, be shall and | כֻּלָּ֔הּ | kullāh | koo-LA |
| as by the flood | וְשָׁקְעָ֖ה | wĕšoqʿâ | veh-shoke-AH |
| of Egypt. | כִּיאֹ֥ר | kîʾōr | kee-ORE |
| מִצְרָֽיִם׃ | miṣrāyim | meets-RA-yeem |
