Daniel 1 - WEB (Oriya)

1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Jerusalem, and besieged it.ଯିହୁଦାର ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋକୀମର ରାଜତ୍ବର ତୃତୀୟ ବର୍ଷ ରେ ବାବିଲର ରାଜା ନବୁଖଦନିତ୍ସର ସୈନ୍ଯବାହିନୀ ସହ ଆସି ୟିରୁଶାଲମକୁ ଅବ ରୋଧ କଲା।

2 The Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God; and he carried them into the land of Shinar to the house of his god: and he brought the vessels into the treasure-house of his god.ବର୍ତ୍ତମାନ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଯିହାୟୋକୀମ୍କୁ ପରାସ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁମତି ଦେଲେ ଏବଂ ସେ କିଛି ପାତ୍ର ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ନଇଗେଲେ। ସେ ସିନଯର ଭୂମିକୁ ସବୁଗୁଡିକୁ ବହନ କରି ନେଲେ ଏବଂ ଆରଣା ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିର ଭଣ୍ତାରଗୃହ ରେ ସେସବୁ ରଖି ଦେଲେ।

3 The king spoke to Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring in [certain] of the children of Israel, even of the seed royal and of the nobles;ତା'ପ ରେ ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଅସ୍ପନସ୍କୁ ଏକ ଆଦେଶ ଦେଲେ। ଅସ୍ପନସ୍ ସବୋ ରେ ଜଣେ ନଫୁସକାଧିପତି ଥିଲେ। ରାଜା କେତକେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ସନ୍ତାନମାନଙ୍କୁ ରାଜପ୍ରାସାଦକୁ ଆଣିବା ପାଇଁ କହିଲେ। ନବୂଖଦନି୍ତ୍ସର କବଳେ ମହତ୍ବପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପରିବାରରୁ ୟିହୁଦି ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ବଂଶରୁ ରାଜାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ।

4 youths in whom was no blemish, but well-favored, and skillful in all wisdom, and endowed with knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability to stand in the king's palace; and that he should teach them the learning and the language of the Chaldeans.ରାଜା ଯିହାୟୋଦାରକୀମ୍ ଚାହିଁଲେ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ଯବାନ୍, ସୁନ୍ଦର ଯୋଗ୍ଯ ଏବଂ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ୟିହୁଦି ବାଳକମାନେ ଯେଉଁମାନେ ରାଜକୀଯ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ଠିଆ ହବୋକୁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯ ଥିଲେ ଏବଂ ଅସ୍ପନସ୍ ନଫୁସକାଧିପତି ଭାଷା ଏବଂ କଲଦୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଲଖାେ ଶିଖାଇବାକୁ ପଚାରିଲେ।

5 The king appointed for them a daily portion of the king's dainties, and of the wine which he drank, and that they should be nourished three years; that at the end of it they should stand before the king.ଏବଂ ରାଜା ସହେିସବୁ ୟୁବକମାନଙ୍କୁ ରାଜକୀଯ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଓ ପାନୀଯ ଦେଲେ। ସେ ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ୟାଏଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଦବୋ ସହିତ ଯତ୍ନ ନେଲେ ଓ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ସବୋ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତାଲିମ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବୋକୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ।

6 Now among these were, of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah.ଏହି ୟୁବକମାନଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଯିହୁଦା ପରିବାରବର୍ଗୀଯ ଦାନିୟେଲ, ହନାନିଯ, ମୀଶାଯଲେ ଓ ଅସରିଯ ଥିଲେ।

7 The prince of the eunuchs gave names to them: to Daniel he gave [the name of] Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, [of] Shadrach; and to Mishael, [of] Meshach; and to Azariah, [of] Abednego.ପୁଣି ସହେି ନଫୁସକାଧିପତି ଅସ୍ପନସ୍ ଯିହୁଦାର ୟୁବକମାନଙ୍କୁ ନୂଆ ବାବିଲୀଯ ନାମ ଦେଲେ। ସେ ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ବଲେଟ୍ଶତ୍ସର, ହନାନିଯଙ୍କୁ ଶଦ୍ରକ୍, ମୀଶାଯଲଙ୍କେୁ ମୈଶକ ଓ ଅସରିଯଙ୍କୁ ଅବେଦ୍-ନଗୋ ନାମ ଦେଲେ।

8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the king's dainties, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.ମାତ୍ର ଦାନିୟେଲ ସହେି ରାଜକୀଯ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କରି ନିଜକୁ ଅଶୁଚି କରିବାକୁ ଇଚ୍ଛା କଲେ ନାହିଁ। ଏଣୁ ସେ ନଫୁସକାଧିପତିକୁ ନିବଦନେ କଲେ ଓ ସେ ଅନ୍ଯାନ୍ଯ ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଖାଇ ପାରିବେ କି ବୋଲି ପଚାରିଲେ, ଯାହାଫଳ ରେ ସେ ଅଶୁଚି ହବେେ ନାହିଁ।

9 Now God made Daniel to find kindness and compassion in the sight of the prince of the eunuchs.ସେତବେେଳେ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେି ନଫୁସକାଧିପତିର ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରେ ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ଓ ଦୟାର ପାତ୍ର କଲେ।

10 The prince of the eunuchs said to Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who has appointed your food and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse looking than the youths who are of your own age? so would you endanger my head with the king.କିନ୍ତୁ ସହେି ନଫୁସକାଧିପତି ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, ମୁଁ ମାରେମୁନିବ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଭୟ କରେ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସେ ଆଦେଶ କରିଥିବା ଖାଦ୍ୟ ଓ ପାନୀଯ ଗ୍ରହଣ ନକର, ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ରୁଗ୍ଣ ଦଖାୟିବେ ଓ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ଅନୁଭବ କରିବ। ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଶୁଖିଲା ଦଖାୟୋଅ, ରାଜା ମାେ ଉପ ରେ ରାଗିବେ ଏବଂ ମାରେମୁଣ୍ତ କାଟ କରିବେ। ତା'ପ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଏହି ଅପରାଧ ପାଇଁ ଦୋଷୀ ସାବ୍ଯସ୍ତ ହବେ।

11 Then said Daniel to the steward whom the prince of the eunuchs had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:ତା'ପ ରେ ଦାନିୟେଲ, ଗୃହରକ୍ଷୀମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, କେଉଁମାନଙ୍କୁ ନଫୁସକାଧିପତି, ଦାନିୟେଲ, ହନାନିଯ, ମୀଶାଯଲେ ଓ ଅସରିଯ ଉପ ରେ ଦୃଷ୍ଟି ରଖିବାକୁ ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କରାୟାଇଥିଲା।

12 Prove your servants, I beg you, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.ସେ କହିଲେ, ଦୟାକରି ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦଶଦିନ ପାଇଁ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କରନ୍ତୁ। ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୋଜନ ନିମନ୍ତେ ପନିପରିବା ଓ ପିଇବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ଜଳ ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ।

13 Then let our faces be looked on before you, and the face of the youths who eat of the king's dainties; and as you see, deal with your servants.ପୁଣି ଦଶଦିନ ପ ରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ସହେି ରାଜକୀଯ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ଓ ପାନୀଯ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରୁଥିବା ୟୁବକମାନଙ୍କ ସହିତ ତୁଳନା କରାଯାଉ, ଆଉ କିଏ ଅଧିକ ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ଯବାନ୍ ଦଖାୟିବେ। ତା'ପ ରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ବିଗ୍ଭର କରି ଏହି ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ବ୍ଯବହାର କରିବା ହବେେ।

14 So he listened to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.ତେଣୁ ଗୃହରକ୍ଷୀ ଏ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଏକମତ ହାଇେ, ଦାନିୟେଲ, ହନାନିଯ, ମୀଶାଯଲେ ଏବଂ ଅସରିଯଙ୍କୁ ଦଶଦିନ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ପରୀକ୍ଷା କଲେ।

15 At the end of ten days their faces appeared fairer, and they were fatter in flesh, than all the youths who ate of the king's dainties.ଆଉ ଦଶଦିନ ପ ରେ ଦଖାଗେଲା ସମାନେେ ରାଜକୀଯ ଭକ୍ଷଣକାରୀଙ୍କଠାରୁ ଅଧିକ ସୁସ୍ଥସବଳ ଓ ହୃଷ୍ଟପୁଷ୍ଟ ଦଖାଗେଲେ।

16 So the steward took away their dainties, and the wine that they should drink, and gave them pulse.ଏଥି ରେ ଗୃହରକ୍ଷୀ ସମାନଙ୍କେର ସହେି ରାଜକୀଯ ଭକ୍ଷ୍ଯ ଓ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନୀଯ ବନ୍ଦ କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ପୂର୍ବପରି ଶାକାହାର ଦେଲେ।

17 Now as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.ଆଉ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେି ଗ୍ଭରି ୟୁବକଙ୍କୁ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଏବଂ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ଲେଖନି ଓ ବିଜ୍ଞାନ ଶିକ୍ଷା ପାଇଁ ଯୋଗ୍ଯତା ପ୍ରଦାନ କଲେ। ପୁଣି ଦାନିୟେଲ ସମସ୍ତ ଦର୍ଶନ ଅ ସ୍ବପ୍ନ ବିଷଯ ରେ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ହେଲେ।

18 At the end of the days which the king had appointed for bringing them in, the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.ରାଜା ତିନିବର୍ଷ ରେ ସମାନେେ ତାଲିମପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ହବେେ ବୋଲି ଇଚ୍ଛା କରିଥିଲେ। ତାହା ଶଷେ ହେଲାପ ରେ ନଫୁସକାଧିପତି ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ସମ୍ମଖକୁ ଆଣିଲା।

19 The king talked with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.ରାଜା ସମାନଙ୍କେ ସହିତ ଆଳାପ କଲେ। ଆଉ ସେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ଦାନିୟେଲ, ହନାନିଯ, ମୀଶାଯଲେ ଓ ଅସରିଯ ଅଧିକ ଦକ୍ଷ ଜଣା ଗଲେ। ତେଣୁ ସମାନେେ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ଦାସ ହେଲେ।

20 In every matter of wisdom and understanding, concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters who were in all his realm.ଆଉ ଜ୍ଞାନ ଓ ବୁଦ୍ଧି ସମ୍ବନ୍ଧୀଯ ଯେ କୌଣସି ବିଷଯ ରେ ରାଜା ସହେି ଗ୍ଭରି ୟୁବକଙ୍କୁ ପଗ୍ଭରୁଥିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ବିଜ୍ଞ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଉଥିଲେ। ରାଜା ସମଗ୍ର ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ସମସ୍ତ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞ ଓ ଗଣକମାନଙ୍କ ଅପେକ୍ଷା ସମାନେେ ଦଶଗୁଣ ଅଧିକ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ବୋଲି ଜାଣିଲେ।

21 Daniel continued even to the first year of king Cyrus.ପୁଣି ଦାନିୟେଲ କୋରସ ରାଜାର ପ୍ରଥମବର୍ଷ ପର୍ୟ୍ଯନ୍ତ ରହିଲେ।
