Daniel 5 - BBE (Oriya)

1 Belshazzar the king made a great feast for a thousand of his lords, drinking wine before the thousand.ରାଜା ବେଲ୍ଶତ୍ସର ନିଜର ସହସ୍ର ଅମାତ୍ଯବର୍ଗଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଏକ ମହା ଭୋଜି ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ କଲେ। ଆଉ ସେ ସହସ୍ରଙ୍କ ମଧିଅରେ ରାଜା ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କଲେ।

2 Belshazzar, while he was overcome with wine, gave orders for them to put before him the gold and silver vessels which Nebuchadnezzar, his father, had taken from the Temple in Jerusalem; so that the king and his lords, his wives and his other women, might take their drink from them.ବେଲ୍ଶତ୍ସର ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କରୁଥିବା ବେଳେ ତାଙ୍କର ପିତା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର। ୟିରୁଶାଲମସ୍ଥ ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ଅପହରଣ କରି ଆଣିଥିବା ସୁନା ଓ ରୂପା ରେ ପାତ୍ରଗୁଡିକୁ ଆଣିବାକୁ ତାଙ୍କ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଦେଶ କଲେ। ସେ ଗ୍ଭହୁଁଥିଲେ ସେଥି ରେ ସେ, ତାଙ୍କର ଅମାତ୍ଯଗଣ, ତାଙ୍କର ପତ୍ନିଗଣ ଓ ଉପପତ୍ନୀଗଣ ଯେପରି ପାନ କରିବେ।

3 Then they took in the gold and silver vessels which had been in the Temple of the house of God at Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives and his other women, took wine from them.ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନେ ୟିରୁଶାଲମସ୍ଥ ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ଅର୍ଥାତ୍ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରରୁ ଯେଉଁସବୁ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପାତ୍ର ଅପହୃତ ହାଇେଥିଲା, ତାହା ଲୋକମାନେ ଆଣିଲେ। ପୁଣି ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କର ଅମାତ୍ଯ ଗଣ, ତାଙ୍କର ପତ୍ନୀଗଣ ଓ ଉପପତ୍ନୀଗଣ ସହେି ପାତ୍ର ରେ ପାନ କଲେ।

4 They took their wine and gave praise to the gods of gold and silver, of brass and iron and wood and stone.ସମାନେେ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କରୁଥିଲା ବେଳେ ସୁନା, ରୂପା, ପିତ୍ତଳ, ଲୁହା, କାଠ ଓ ପ୍ରସ୍ତର ନିର୍ମିତ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତିରୂପକ ଦବଗେଣର ପ୍ରଶଂସା କଲେ।

5 In that very hour the fingers of a man's hand were seen, writing opposite the support for the light on the white wall of the king's house, and the king saw the part of the hand which was writing.ସହେି ସମୟରେ ହଠାତ୍ ମନୁଷ୍ଯର ଏକ ହସ୍ତ ଦଶୃମାନ ହେଲା ଓ ରାଜପ୍ରାସାଦର କାନ୍ଥର ଲପନେ ଉପ ରେ ଅଙ୍ଗୁଳି ରେ ଲେଖିଲା। ସହେି ହସ୍ତ ଦୀପରୂଖା ନିକଟସ୍ଥ ରାଜପ୍ରାସାଦ କାନ୍ଥ ରେ ଲେଖୁଥିଲା। ଆଉ ରାଜା ଲେଖୁଥିବା ସ୍ବହସ୍ତର ଅଂଶ ଦେଖୁଥିଲେ।

6 Then the colour went from the king's face, and he was troubled by his thoughts; strength went from his body, and his knees were shaking.ତହିଁରେ ରାଜା ଭୟଭୀତ ହେଲେ ତାଙ୍କର ମୁଖ ବିବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା। ତାଙ୍କର ଆଣ୍ଠୁ ଥରିଲା ଓ ଆଣ୍ଠୁକୁ ଆଣ୍ଠୁ ବାଜିଲା। ତାଙ୍କର ଗୋଡ ଏତେ ଦୁର୍ବଳ ହେଲା ଯେ ସେ ଛିଡା ହାଇେ ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

7 The king, crying out with a loud voice, said that the users of secret arts, the Chaldaeans, and the readers of signs, were to be sent for. The king made answer and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whoever is able to make out this writing, and make clear to me the sense of it, will be clothed in purple and have a chain of gold round his neck, and will be a ruler of high authority in the kingdom.ଗଣକ, କଲଦୀଯ ଓ ଶୁଭାଶୁଭବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ତାଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖକୁ ରାଜା ଡକାଇଲେ। ସେ ବାବିଲୋନୀଯ ବିଦ୍ବାନମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, ଯେ କହେି ଏହି ଲଖାେ ପଢିପାରିବ ଓ ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥ ବାହାର କରିପାରିବ, ତାଙ୍କୁ ମୁଁ ବାଇଗଣିଆ ରଙ୍ଗର ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଉପହାର ଦବେି ଓ ତାଙ୍କ କଣ୍ଠ ରେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ହାର ପିନ୍ଧାଇ ଦବେି। ଆଉ ସେ ରାଜ୍ଯର ତୃତୀୟ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଶାସନ କର୍ତ୍ତା ହବେ।

8 Then all the king's wise men came in: but they were not able to make out the writing or give the sense of it to the king.ତେଣୁ ରାଜାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ବିଦ୍ବାନ ଲୋକ ଭିତରକୁ ଯଦିଓ ଆସିଲେ, ସମାନେେ ଲଖାେ ପଢି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ କି ତାହାର ଅର୍ଥ ବୁଝିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

9 Then King Belshazzar was greatly troubled and the colour went from his face, and his lords were at a loss.ରାଜା ବେଲ୍ଶତ୍ସରଙ୍କ ଅମାତ୍ଯଗଣ ଦ୍ବନ୍ଦ ରେ ପଡିଲେ। ଆଉ ରାଜା ଅଧିକ ଉଦ୍ବିଗ୍ନ ହେଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ମୁଖ ବିବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହେଲା।

10 The queen, because of the words of the king and his lords, came into the house of the feast: the queen made answer and said, O King, have life for ever; do not be troubled by your thoughts or let the colour go from your face:ତା'ପ ରେ ରାଣୀ ଭୋଜନଗାରକୁ ଆସିଲେ। ସେ ରାଜା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଅଧିକାରୀଗଣଙ୍କ କଥା ଶୁଣିଥିଲେ। ସେ କହିଲେ, ହେ ରାଜୀ, ଦୀର୍ଘଜୀବି ହୁଅ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଭାବନା ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଉଦ୍ବିଗ୍ନ ନକରୁ କି ତୁମ୍ଭର ମୁଖମଣ୍ତଳ ବିବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନ ହେଉ।

11 There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of your father, light and reason like the wisdom of the gods were seen in him: and King Nebuchadnezzar, your father, made him master of the wonder-workers, and the users of secret arts, and the Chaldaeans, and the readers of signs;ତୁମ୍ଭ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ଜଣେ ଲୋକ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯାହାଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତର ରେ ପବିତ୍ର ଦବଗେଣ ଆତ୍ମା ବିରାଜିତ। ପୁଣି ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତାଙ୍କ ସମୟରେ ଦବଗେଣର ଜ୍ଞାନତୁଲ୍ଯ ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଓ ଜ୍ଞାନଦୀପ୍ତି ତାଙ୍କଠା ରେ ପ୍ରକାଶିତ ହାଇେଥିଲା। ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପିତା ରାଜା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ତାଙ୍କୁ ମନ୍ତ୍ରଜ୍ଞ, ଗଣକ କଲଦୀଯ ଓ ଶୁଭାଶୁଭବାଦୀମାନଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ ପ୍ରଧାନ କରି ନିୟୁକ୍ତ କରିଥିଲେ।

12 Because a most special spirit, and knowledge and reason and the power of reading dreams and unfolding dark sayings and answering hard questions, were seen to be in him, even in Daniel (named Belteshazzar by the king): now let Daniel be sent for, and he will make clear the sense of the writing.ମୁଁ ଯେଉଁ ବ୍ଯକ୍ତି ବିଷଯ ରେ କହୁଛି, ସେ ଦାନିୟେଲ। ରାଜା ତାଙ୍କୁ ବେଲ୍ଟଶତ୍ସର ନାମ ଦଇେଥିଲେ। ସହେି ବେଲ୍ଟଶତ୍ସର ମହାନ ଥିଲେ। ସେ ଜ୍ଞାନୀ, ବୁଦ୍ଧିମାନ ଓ ସ୍ବପ୍ନଦ୍ରଷ୍ଟା ଅଟନ୍ତି ଓ ସେ ନିଗୂଢ ତଥ୍ଯ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରିପାରନ୍ତି। ତାଙ୍କୁ ଡକାଅ। ସେ କବଳେ ଏ ଲଖାରେ ଅର୍ଥ ବୁଝାଇ ଦବେେ।

13 Then they took Daniel in before the king; the king made answer and said to Daniel, So you are that Daniel, of the prisoners of Judah, whom my father took out of Judah.ତହୁଁ ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ରାଜାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁକୁ ଅଣାଗଲା। ରାଜା ଦିନିଯଲଙ୍କେୁ କହିଲା, ମାରେ ପିତା ମହାରାଜ ୟୁହୁଦା ଦେଶରୁ ଯେଉଁ ନିର୍ବାସିତ ୟିହୁଦୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ଆଣିଥିଲେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ମଧିଅରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଦାନିୟେଲ ଅନ୍ୟତମ ଅଟକି?

14 And I have had news of you, that the spirit of the gods is in you, and that light and reason and special wisdom have been seen in you.ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଶୁଣୁଅଛି ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଅନ୍ତର ରେ ଦବଗେଣର ଆତ୍ମା ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଜ୍ଞାନ, ଦୀପ୍ତି, ବୁଦ୍ଧି ଓ ଶ୍ ରେଷ୍ଠ ମହିମା ତୁମ୍ଭଠା ରେ ଦଖାୟୋଏ।

15 And now the wise men, the users of secret arts, have been sent in before me for the purpose of reading this writing and making clear to me the sense of it: but they are not able to make clear the sense of the thing:ମାରେ ରାଜ୍ଯର ଜ୍ଞାନୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ମାେ ପାଖକୁ ଆସିଥିଲେ। କିନ୍ତୁ ସମାନେେ କାନ୍ଥ ରେ ଲଖାେ ହାଇେଥିବା ଅର୍ଥ ପ୍ରକାଶ କରି ପାରିଲେ ନାହିଁ।

16 And I have had news of you, that you have the power of making things clear, and of answering hard questions: now if you are able to make out the writing and give me the sense of it, you will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain round your neck and be a ruler of high authority in the kingdom.ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବିଷଯ ରେ ଶୁଣୁଅଛି ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅର୍ଥ ପ୍ରକାଶ ଓ ସନ୍ଦହେ ଭଞ୍ଜନ କରିପାର। ଏତେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଯଦି ଏହି ଲଖାେ ପାଠ କରି ତହିଁର ଅର୍ଥ ମାେତେ ଜଣାଇ ପାର, ତବେେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ବାଇଗଣିଆ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ଉପହାର ଦବେି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ କଣ୍ଠ ରେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହାର ଲମ୍ବାଇବି। ଆଉ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ମାେ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ତୃତୀୟ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ହବେ।

17 Then Daniel made answer and said to the king, Keep your offerings for yourself, and give your rewards to another; but I, after reading the writing to the king, will give him the sense of it.ତା'ପ ରେ ଦାନିୟେଲ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର କରି କହିଲେ, ହେ ରାଜା ବେଲ୍ଟଶତ୍ସର, ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଦାନ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ଥାଉ ଓ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ପୁରସ୍କାର ଅନ୍ୟକୁ ଦିଅନ୍ତୁ। ମାତ୍ର ମୁଁ ମହାରାଜାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁ ରେ ଏହି ଲଖାେ ପଢିବି ଓ ଏହାର ଅର୍ଥ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇବି।

18 As for you, O King, the Most High God gave to Nebuchadnezzar, your father, the kingdom and great power and glory and honour: ହେ ମହାରାଜା, ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପିତା ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସରଙ୍କୁ ରାଜ୍ଯ, ମହିମା, ଗୌରବ ଓ ପ୍ରତାପ ଦେଲେ।

19 And because of the great power he gave him, all peoples and nations and languages were shaking in fear before him: some he put to death and others he kept living, at his pleasure, lifting up some and putting others down as it pleased him.ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତାଙ୍କୁ ଏପରି ମହିମାନ୍ବିତ କଲେ ଯେ ସକଳ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ, ନାନା ଦେଶୀଯ ଓ ଭାଷାବାଦୀ ଲୋକମାନେ ତାଙ୍କ ଛାମୁ ରେ କମ୍ପିତ ହାଇେ ଭୟ କଲେ। ସେ ଯାହାକୁ ମାରିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ ତାକୁ ବଧ କଲେ। ପୁଣି ଯାହାକୁ ବଞ୍ଚିବାକୁ ଚାହିଁଲେ, ସେ ଜୀବିତ ରହିଲା। ତାଙ୍କରି ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁସା ରେ ଜଣେ ଉନ୍ନତ ହେଲା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁସା ରେ ଜଣେ ଅବନତ ହେଲା।

20 But when his heart was lifted up and his spirit became hard with pride, he was put down from his place as king, and they took his glory from him:କିନ୍ତୁ ନବୂଖଦ୍ନିତ୍ସର ଗର୍ବୀ ଏବଂ ଜିଦ୍ଖୋର ହେଲେ। ତେଣୁ ତାଙ୍କର ରାଜ୍ଯ ତାଙ୍କଠାରୁ ନିଆଗଲା। ତା'ପ ରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କ ଗହଣରୁ ତଡି ନିଆଗଲା।

21 And he was sent out from among the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts', and he was living with the asses of the fields; he had grass for his food like the oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till he was certain that the Most High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and gives power over it to anyone at his pleasure.ତାଙ୍କର ମନ ପଶୁତୁଲ୍ଯ ହେଲା ଓ ସେ ବନ୍ଯ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ସହିତ ବାସ କଲେ। ଆଉ ସେ ଗୋରୁଗାଈ ପରି ତୃଣ ଭୋଜନ କଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଶରୀର କାକର ରେ ଭିଜିଲା। ତା'ପ ରେ ସେ ହୃଦ୍ ବୋଧ କଲେ ଯେ, ସର୍ବୋପରିସ୍ଥ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ମନୁଷ୍ଯମାନଙ୍କ ଉପ ରେ କତ୍ତୃର୍ତ୍ବ କରନ୍ତି। ଏବଂ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଯାହାକୁ ଗ୍ଭହାଁନ୍ତି ତାକୁ ସେ ରାଜ୍ଯ ରେ ନିୟୁକ୍ତି କରିପାରନ୍ତି।

22 And you, his son, O Belshazzar, have not kept your heart free from pride, though you had knowledge of all this;କିନ୍ତୁ ବଲେଟ୍ଶତ୍ସର, ଆପଣ ତାଙ୍କର ପୁତ୍ର। ଆପଣ ଏସବୁ ଜାଣିଲେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଅନ୍ତଃକରଣକୁ ନମ୍ର କରିନାହାଁନ୍ତି।

23 But you have been lifting yourself up against the Lord of heaven, and they have put the vessels of his house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your women, have taken wine in them; and you have given praise to gods of silver and gold, of brass and iron and wood and stone, who are without the power of seeing or hearing, and without knowledge: and to the God in whose hand your breath is, and whose are all your ways, you have not given glory;ଆପଣ ନମ୍ର ହବୋ ପରିବର୍ତେ ସ୍ବର୍ଗସ୍ଥ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ବିରୁଦ୍ଧ ରେ ନିଜକୁ ଉନ୍ନତ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମନ୍ଦିରର ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ରେ ୗପ୍ୟ ପାତ୍ର ରେ ଆପଣ, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଅମାତ୍ଯଗଣ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ପତ୍ନୀଗଣ ଓ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଉପପତ୍ନୀଗଣ ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ପାନ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ପୁଣି ସୁନା, ରୂପା, ପିତ୍ତଳ, ଲୌହ, କାଠ ଓ ପଥର ନିର୍ମିତ ପ୍ରତିମା ରେ ଦବଗେଣ, ଯେଉଁମାନେ କି ଦେଖନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ, ଜାଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ କି ଶୁଣନ୍ତି ନାହିଁ! ସମାନଙ୍କେର ପ୍ରଶଂସା ଆପଣ କରିଅଛନ୍ତି। ଆଉ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଜୀବନ ଯାହାଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତଗତ ଓ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ସକଳ ପଥ ଯାହାଙ୍କର ଅଧିନ, ଆପଣ ସହେି ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ଗୌରବ କରିନାହାଁନ୍ତି।

24 Then the part of the hand was sent out from before him, and this writing was recorded.ତେଣୁ ସହେି କାରଣରୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବରଙ୍କର ହସ୍ତ ପ୍ ରରେିତ ଲିଖିତ ହେଲା ଓ ଏହି ଲଖାେ ଲିଖିତ ହେଲା।

25 And this is the writing which was recorded, Mene, tekel, peres.କାନ୍ଥ ରେ ଲିଖିତ ହାଇେଥିବା ଶଦ୍ଦଗୁଡିକ ହେଲା ଏହି: ମିନେ, ମିନେ, ତକେଲ୍, ଉପାରସୀନ।

26 This is the sense of the words: Mene; your kingdom has been numbered by God and ended.ମିନେ ର ଅର୍ଥ ହେଉଛି, ପରମେଶ୍ବର ଆପଣଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯର ଗଣନା କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ତାହା ଶଷେ କରି ଅଛନ୍ତି।

27 Tekel; you have been put in the scales and seen to be under weight.ତକଲରେ ଅର୍ଥ, ଆପଣ ନିକିତି ରେ ତୌଲା ୟାଇ ଅଛନ୍ତି ଓ ଊଣା ଦଖାେ ୟାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।

28 Peres; your kingdom has been cut up and given to the Medes and Persians.ଉପାରସୀନର ଅର୍ଥ, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ରାଜ୍ଯ ବିଭକ୍ତ ହାଇେଅଛି ଆଉ ମାଦୀଯ ଓ ପାରସିକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦତ୍ତ ହାଇେଅଛି।

29 Then, by the order of Belshazzar, they put a purple robe on Daniel, and a gold chain round his neck, and a public statement was made that he was to be a ruler of high authority in the kingdom.ବଲେଶତ୍ସର ଆଜ୍ଞା ରେ ଲୋକମାନେ ଦାନିୟେଲଙ୍କୁ ବାଇଗଣିଆ ବସ୍ତ୍ର ପିନ୍ଧାଇଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ କଣ୍ଠ ରେ ସୁବର୍ଣ୍ଣର ହାର ଦେଲେ। ଆଉ ସେ ରାଜ୍ଯର ତୃତୀୟ ସର୍ବୋଚ୍ଚ ଶାସନକର୍ତ୍ତା ହବେେ ବୋଲି ଘାଷେଣା କଲେ।

30 That very night Belshazzar, the king of the Chaldaeans, was put to death.ସହେି ରାତ୍ରି ରେ କଲଦୀଯମାନଙ୍କର ରାଜା ବଲେଶତ୍ସରଙ୍କୁ ବଧ କରାଗଲା।
