ମିଶରୀଯମାନେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲୀୟମାନଙ୍କର ଜୀବନ ଦୁର୍ବିସହ କଲେ। ସମାନେେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ କାଦୁଅ ଓ ଇଟା ତିଆରି କରିବା ପାଇଁ ବଧ୍ଯ କଲେ। ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ମଧ୍ଯ ବିଲ ରେ କଠିନ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରାଇଲେ। ସମାନେେ ପ୍ରେତ୍ୟକକ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅଧିକ ପରିଶ୍ରମ କରିବାକୁ ବାଧ୍ଯ କଲେ।
