ପଙ୍ଗପାଳମାନେ ଭୂମିକୁ ଆଚ୍ଛାଦନ କଲେ ଏବଂ ସମଗ୍ର ମିଶର ଅନ୍ଧକାରଚ୍ଛନ୍ନ ହାଇଗେଲା। ପଥର ବର୍ଷା ରେ ଯାହାସବୁ ନଷ୍ଟ ହାଇେ ନଥିଲା, ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟାଂଶ ଗଛର ପୁତ୍ରକୁ ପଙ୍ଗପାଳ ଦଳ ଖାଇଗଲେ। ଏପରିକି ମିଶର ରେ କୌଣସି ବୃକ୍ଷ ରେ ଆଉ ପତ୍ର ରହିଲା ନାହିଁ।
