ଆଉ ଯେତବେେଳେ କିଣାନୀଯ, ହିତ୍ତୀଯ, ଇ ମାରେୀଯ, ହିଦ୍ଦୀଯ ଓ ୟିବୂଷୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କର ଯେଉଁ ଉନ୍ନତ ଦେଶ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଦବୋକୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ପୂର୍ବପୁରୁଷମାନଙ୍କ ପାଖ ରେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ, ସହେି ଦେଶକୁ ସେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦବେେ।

ଏଥି ନିମନ୍ତେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ମିଶରୀଯମାନଙ୍କଠାରୁ ରକ୍ଷା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ମର୍ତ୍ତ୍ଯକୁ ୟିବି। ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ସେ ଭୂମିରୁ ଏକ ଉତ୍ତମ ଭୂମିକୁ ନଇୟିବୋ, ଯେଉଁଠା ରେ ପ୍ରଚୁର ପରିମାଣ ରେ ଦୁଗ୍ଧ ଓ ମହୁର ବନ୍ଯା ଛୁଟୁଥିବ। ସଠାେରେ ସମାନଙ୍କେ ପାଇଁ କୌଣସି ଅସୁବିଧ ହବେନାହିଁ। ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସଠାେରେ ଅସୁବିଧାରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ରହିବ। ସମସ୍ତ ଉତ୍ତମ ଦ୍ରବ୍ଯମାନ ମିଳିବ। ବହୁଦେଶୀଯ ଲୋକମାନେ ସଠାେରେ ବାସ କରୁଥିବେ। କିଣାନୀଯ, ହିତ୍ତୀଯ, ଇମାରେୀୟ, ପିରିଷୀଯ, ହିଦ୍ଦୀଯ ଓ ୟିବୂଷୀଯମାନେ ଯେଉଁ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ବାସ କରନ୍ତି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସହେିଠା ରେ ବାସ କରିବ।

ଏହାପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ୟର୍ଦ୍ଦନ ପାର ହାଇେ ଯିରୀହାକେକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଗଲ। ଯିରୀହାେ ନଗରର ଲୋକମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ। ଏବଂ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ମଧ୍ଯ ଇ ମାରେୀଯ, ପରିଷୀଯ, କିଣାନୀଯ, ହିତ୍ତୀଯ, ଗିର୍ଗାଶୀଯ, ହିଦ୍ଦୀଯ ଓ ୟିବୂଷୀଯମାନେ ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭ ବିରକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ ରେ ୟକ୍ସ୍ଟଦ୍ଧ କଲେ ଏବଂ ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ହାତ ରେ ସମର୍ପଣ କଲକ୍ସ୍ଟ।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ଏକଥା ଯେପରି ମନେ ରହେ ଏହା ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଠାେରେ ମଧ୍ଯ ପାଳନ କରିବ, ସହେି ଭୂମି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦବେେ, ଯେ ହତେୁ ସେ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲେ।

ଏହି ଆଜ୍ଞା ପାଳନ କର। ଯାହା ଆଜି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଆଜ୍ଞା ଦଲେି ତାହା ଅନୁସରଣ କର ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ଶତୃମାନଙ୍କୁ ଏହି ଦେଶରୁ ବିତାଡିତ କରିବି। ମୁଁ କିଣାନୀଯ, ହିତ୍ତୀଯ, ପରିଷୀଯ, ହିଦ୍ଦୀଯ ଓ ୟିବୁଷୀଯ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ବିତାଡିତ କରିବି।

ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଖକ୍ସ୍ଟବ୍ଶିଘ୍ର ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବ, ସହେି ଦେଶ ରେ ଯାହା ତୁମ୍ଭର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ପରମେଶ୍ବର ତକ୍ସ୍ଟମ୍ଭଙ୍କକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଦବେେ। ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ସଠାେରେ ବାସ କରିବ।

Deuteronomy 12:29
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତୁମ୍ଭର ପରମେଶ୍ବର ସହେି ଦେଶସବୁକକ୍ସ୍ଟ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବାକୁ ଯାଉଛନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁମାନଙ୍କର ଭୂମି ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଅଧିକାର କରିବା ପାଇଁ ଯାଉଛ। ତା'ପରେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଅଧିକାର କରି ସମାନଙ୍କେ ଦେଶ ରେ ବାସ କରିବ।

Numbers 14:30
ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ଯରୁ କହେି, ଆମ୍ଭେ ଯେଉଁ ଦେଶ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦବୋକୁ ପ୍ରତିଜ୍ଞା କରିଥିଲୁ, ସଠାେରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିପାରିବ ନାହିଁ। କବଳେ ୟିଫୁନ୍ନିର ପୁତ୍ର କାଲବେ ଓ ନୂନର ପୁତ୍ର ୟିହୋଶୂଯ ସେ ଦେଶ ରେ ପ୍ରବେଶ କରିବେ।

ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଏହି ଦେଶ ରେ ପ୍ରବାସ କର। ତହିଁରେ ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ସାହାୟ୍ଯ ଓ ଆଶୀର୍ବାଦ କରିବି। ପୁଣି ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ବଂଶକୁ ଏହି ସମସ୍ତ ଭୂମି ଦବେି। ତୁମ୍ଭ ପିତା ଅବ୍ରାହାମଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ କରିଥବା ଶପଥ ମୁଁ ସଫଳ କରିବି।
