Exodus 22:14
କୌଣସି ଲୋକ ଯଦି ତା'ର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀଠାରୁ କିଛି ଧାର ଆଣିଥାଏ ତବେେ ସେ ସହେି ଜିନିଷ ପାଇଁ ଦାଯୀ ରହିବ। ଯଦି ଗୋଟିଏ ପଶୁ ଆଘାତ ପାଏ ଯଦି ଏ ପଶୁ ମରିୟାଏ, ତବେେ ତା'ର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀକୁ ତା'ର ପଶୁ ମୁନିବକୁ ତା'ର ମୂଲ୍ଯ ଦବୋକୁ ପଡିବ। ଏଥିପାଇଁ ତା'ର ପଡ଼ୋଶୀ ସଂପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରୂପେ ଦାଯୀ ରହିବ। କାରଣ ତା'ର ମୁନିବ ସଠାେରେ ନଥାଏ।

| and it be hurt, | וְנִשְׁבַּ֣ר | wĕnišbar | veh-neesh-BAHR |
| or | אוֹ | ʾô | oh |
| die, | מֵ֑ת | mēt | mate |
| the owner | בְּעָלָ֥יו | bĕʿālāyw | beh-ah-LAV |
| thereof being not | אֵין | ʾên | ane |
| it, with | עִמּ֖וֹ | ʿimmô | EE-moh |
| he shall surely | שַׁלֵּ֥ם | šallēm | sha-LAME |
| make it good. | יְשַׁלֵּֽם׃ | yĕšallēm | yeh-sha-LAME |
